We and a few friends stayed here during the saturday night of the Ludlow spring (beer) festival. The only problem we encountered with the place was that the parking is on a first come first served basis, they have about forty rooms but only twenty eight parking places. Never book into a hotel because you enjoyed a drink in the bar there twenty years ago ....... I think it is possible for a building to be old, clean, comfortable and well furnished at the same time. The Feathers is in a wonderful time warp, a good old fashioned traditionally run hotel, with bags of character. Our room was a delight, had everything and everything was in it's place - very refreshing !

This is a stunning and very old hotel, but warm, cosy and well-appointed. Being in the centre of town, it is amongst history and some wonderful architecture, and its narrow streets were just beautiful. never sure on a coach trip what you are gong to get, but the feathers hotel was fantastic. we were all treated by all staff in a friendly helpful way. the rooms where all clean and well serviced with hospitality trays. the restaurant was great in all respects, staff and food. the reception staff from start to finish were great.... We stayed two nights here. Wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms very nice,very clean. We totally enjoyed our stay. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful hotel.
