This pub has improved immensely in the last decade. Now it has a proper country pub feel. There is a stone floored area where dogs and walkers can feel comfortable, the 'wood burners' and comfy sofas as well as a dining area. The food is good ordinary - the all day breakfast is fantastic. Good walks around and about too,

Went here late sunday afternoon for a meal it was quite busy but found a table. We wanted to move to a smaller table and waitress quickly arranged to clear table for us. Didn't have to wait very long for our food which arrived piping hot, really well presented and tasted lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere, lots of people with dogs.... More

Stayed for our anniversary and to visit family in Sheffield. From the moment we entered the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. We ate breakfast and an evening meal and the food was amazing. Room was lovely. Would definitely stay there again.

We got married here in Sept 2015 and it couldn't have gone better. Becky was fantastic in helping get us organised & nothing was to much trouble! The views were fantastic and the room and marquee amazing. They were happy for us to go up the day before to set it all up, but even they they helped us do... More

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were really friendly and I was impressed that they were all cross-trained. The room was nice and had a lovely bathroom - good shower and large mirror. Lovely bar area and breakfast was good quality. Parking really convenient. Any issues were very quickly resolved and staff were constantly helpful. Beautiful view from the room.... More

Great place to meet friends from both sides of the Pennines, plus dogs. We went for a walk with dogs then had a few beers in this pub. Warm cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and patrons - dog friendly in bar area. Good beer (and coffee for me). Would like to come back with a designated driver so that I can... More

We decided to spend New Year's eve at the Norfolk Arms, we had a really good night. The food provided was pie, peas and chips with a veggie offering as well. Lovely generous servings served by friendly enthusiastic staff. There was a disco as well and drinks served at normal bar prices. We were ready for home at about 02:00... More

We stayed one night in the Norfolk Arms while visiting relatives. It was a lovely pub/inn perfectly placed for visiting the Peak District or Sheffield. The building itself is a lovely old stone Inn with lots of character. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable although the mattress on the bed felt a bit cheap. That's the only slight negative... More

Hi, Thank you for your kind review, it's very much appreciated. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It's a shame the weather spoiled the views, although the mist does add a mystical feel to the place! Thanks again, hopefully we'll see you again soon. Steve More

We were looking for somewhere to break our journey home and being close to old haunts this ticked the boxes. Booked on line at a very reasonable price and was proved great value for money with good room, dinner, breakfast and drinks for two at less than £120 A very busy pub with a great selection of real ales. Lots... More
