Quality of food, comfort of rooms and staff exceeded expectations and it was excellent value. Location perfect for walks and cycling with fantastic views. Quieter and easier to park than other pubs in the Peak. Also enjoyed the well chosen range of beers. Also noticed there were plenty of buses circling the area so it's possible to discover area without... More

Hi, Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review, and for the kind words - it's much appreciated. Regarding the buses in the area, we have actually only had buses up here for a couple of weeks! First Bus have kindly provided an hourly Sheffield to Ringinglow (and beyond) service at weekends and bank holidays for... More

We stayed on a Groupon & added an extra night. The welcome was warm & friendly. We had Room 4 which was a large family room with a very large super king size bed. Wifi good. Weather was pretty grim but was very pleasant to sit by a choice of 2 wood burning stoves, after a hearty breakfast, drinking coffee... More

Hi, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave your review. Funnily enough we've just been discussing the chicken, gammon & cranberry pie - it's been so popular during the last week that it may have forced it's way onto our next menu! Thanks again for your feedback, it's much appreciated! More

What a great find, we stayed here last weekend 22nd march, the owners were very friendly, the rooms very clean and the food was great and the breakfast was a great start to the day, didn't need to eat again all day. Will definitely be going back

We booked this one night stay for Friday night as a last minute get away.. I was a litle apprehensive having read some of the reviews. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who booked us into room 4, a spacious family room. She booked us a table for a meal, which judging by the popularity is well advised..... More

We have just returned today from a night away at this hotel. For myself it was a fantastic experience, being coeliac can make eating out very hard. However not here. the food was fab and the staff could not be more obliging. The room was large and clean with fantastic views from the windows. Breakfast was amazing. Will be returning... More

Hi, Thank you very much for your kind words - it's much appreciated! Re: our coeliac options - keep an eye out for our full Gluten Free menu, which we're currently planning to launch alongside our main menu. This should be available during May if all goes to plan. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review. More

The views of the Valley and Sheffield to the Peak district are excellant. The village of Ringinglow has some quant properties too. There is an excellant car park with... More

We paid £49 for room only and were shown to room 9 on our arrival .This room is small and not worth £49. The bed is a small double but reasonably comfortable . The bathroom has quite a lot of mould around the seals and if complimentary shower gel is provided ( I didn't realise it was ) then at... More

Having recently acquired a dog, one of our favourite walks is through the Mayfield Valley up to Ringinglow and back. We often stop at the Norfolk Arms for a drink (and some chunky chips...mmmm!). But on Mother's Day we booked for lunch. We all enjoyed the lovely food (with plenty of choice). Great friendly service off all the staff. A... More

Great friendly staff but an expensive pint. Shame the burger night no longer exists to ease the burden of an expensive pint of lager. Maybe avoid the Peroni although it does show class if you can afford to drink it. Great wood burners around the venue for that cozy feeling in the winter. Dog friendly, always a winner!

Hi, Thank you for your review. We really appreciate your kind words regarding our friendly staff and wood burners – it’s always nice to read positive feedback. Apologies that you find our pint prices to be expensive. I do consider this claim to be a little unfair and potentially misleading however, as you do not quote any of the prices... More
