We stayed for 2 nights , Friday-Sunday. The location and views of this hotel are stunning, not to mention the hotel itself, makes a very picturesque setting for any occasion. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent with a varied selection to choose from, and was served promptly. Excellent stay overall and we will definately be... More

Top marks for a fabulous weekend - post wedding party for 100 people with band - excellent quirky venue: roaring fire/low ceilings/wooden floors/added marquis = fantastic atmosphere. The service we received from the event organisers and all the staff throughout the planning and on the night was faultless. We stayed in the bridal suite which is a lovely room with... More

I normally stay at large corporate hotels but was delighted to find this little gem. Service was friendly and efficient. Room was fine and comfy. Food was very wholesome and very reasonably priced. Excellent selection of ales and these were excellent value. This isn't the Ritz and doesn't claim to be. A fantastic location if you want to get into... More

it was my birthday and we decided to book the bridle suite at the Norfolk arms, what a disappointment, we booked it over late rooms, and instead of being shown to our room we were shown to a cheaper room, were not the type of couple to complain, but the toilet was dirty and the cups were stuck to the... After visiting this pub back in march 2013 for my boyfriends birthday, we were so impressed by the quaility of the food that we couldn't wait to return. Really wish we hadn't bothered! My boyfriend had booked a table with it being a weekend, to which we were shown straight away into the restaurant area, which had no atmosphere and... More

I booked the Mayfield View room (a 'luxury' double with a four poster) for myself and my partner as a surprise for our anniversary. The hotel and restaurant (think typical Yorkshire pub - character through and through from the people to the stone walls, beams and wood burner) are lovely, the staff we met were very welcoming and helpful and... We visited the Norfolk Arms for lunch today and were disappointed by both the standard of the food and the rude staff response. Myself and my husband both ordered sandwiches which were nearly inedible due to half of the bread being soggy and half of the bread being stale. When we pointed this out the staff member was surly and... More

This is one of my favourite oub in Sheffield! It is one of the few pub with sofa close to the fire I have found since when I moved to Sheffield two months ago. Moreover the view from the garden is beautiful and and food is really good!

Loverly location, even if the weather was poor for our 2 nights, views from the rooms were good. Stayed for 2 nights as part of an extended family get together. We had 2 rooms, one was fine, but the other very cold the first night - after the radiator was bled the next morning it was slightly better - but... More
