After reading reviews on Tripadvisor about Psalter House we decided to use this B&B while visiting Sheffield for a few days. The house is a lovely Edwardian property in an ideal quiet residential location close to both city centre & surrounding areas of interest. It was very clean & tidy & our bedroom was large with a king-size bed, &... More

We found this lovely B & B for a one night stopover, to visit family nearby. A pretty Edwardian house, set in a very peaceful side road, the stylish décor in keeping with the period charm, enchants from the moment you enter the front door. Our two large rooms, a beautiful ensuite at the front, plus a very nice room... More

We had a lovely weekend in Sheffield and would really recommend this B&B over any hotels! It's cozy and warm atmosphere. Really cute breakfast room where all guests sit on the same table :) Lovely experience, the owner is extremeley friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable bed and linen too :) Will definitely go there again when we... We have been coming to visit our daughter in Sheffield for some time now. However until now we have never found anywhere to which we would like to return!! Not so the Psalter House! We only stayed one night but wished we had been staying much longer. Such nice big well appointed rooms. Lovely to have a large comfy sofa... More

We received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was clean, large, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The guest house is in a quiet area yet close to the city centre and very close to Kenwood Hall where we were attending a wedding. Breakfast was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend Psalter House.

Sheila and her husband do a great job in this lovely B&B. The house is very cozy, the location is excellent (just 15-20 minutes walking from the town centre and very quiet), the breakfast can fulfill all your fancies... There is only one thing we didn't like: When you are having the breakfast, there is one table with six seats,... More

A lovely quiet setting, with easy access to local eateries etc, would certainly recommend the Mogul down the road for indian. Sheila is a wonderful lady, and offers a warm and friendly service, with clean, comfortable rooms with all you need, and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is second to none with something for everyone - even our fussy 12... More

Sheila and her husband do an excellent job of maintaining this lovely home, in a beautiful area of Sheffield, easily accessed by several city bus routes. My upstairs room and ensuite bath was very nice and the property is really quiet. Enjoy breakfast to suit your fancy and Shelia is a helpful resource about things to do, transportation, etc. Notes:... More

Delightful find - thanks Tripadvisor - comfy, quiet room, spotlessly clean. And great ample breakfast. Was only there for one night but it would be perfect for a couple of days stay too. It is in a very nice Sheffield suburb, but only a half hour walk into the centre of the city.

This B&B had been recommended and we could see why. We had a warm welcome from Sheila, our double room was spacious and quiet. We were pleased to see that the coffee and tea were Fairtrade. We liked the bottled water and biscuits waiting for us and it was good to have a fridge. There were extra pillows if needed... More
