We stayed at this hotel because it was close by the arena - 2 minute walk. If you are wanting to go into the city for a night out then I would recommend a hotel closer to the city a taxi from this hotel charged us roughly £9 one way. We checked in and took our belongings to our room... More

Watch out for the time of the last tram from Shalesmoor if you are doing the great pubs in the area-It leaves at 11-35pm

Me and my friends stayed when drake was on at the arena, staff where very helpful during check in, when we came back to the hotel we were faced with what I can only describe as 3 quarters of the hotel being "kettled" in reception. If your after a bed to sleep in then book here. I found the room to look like a hostel or something, do not be fooled by the pictures online. The toilet was shoved in a small cubby in the roo, so was the shower. The sink was in the bedroom! You get a tiny bar of soap. Was not... More
