Only stayed one night over a wedding weekend. Excellent service with a great breakfast. Very clean and a quiet location. Highly recommended and great value. The owners made us feel at home with a welcome and a goodbye.

We stayed at Wortley Cottage whilst visiting relatives nearby. We were made very welcome, the rooms are comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was superb. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. The Wortley Arms pub is just round the corner and the food excellent, you will need to book at weekends as it is very popular.

I have stayed here twice now while working in sheffield. Its a great little place, not far from sheffield at all. The village is great and there are some great walk, running or cycling to be had. Service is top notch, tony and su are so helpful giving you a map, or explaining different bits to explore. Very comfy nights... More

We stayed one night here en route from the east coast to Manchester on the Trans Pennine Trail. This is an ideal place for cyclists as Tony also runs the local cycle repair shop and he kindly repaired a puncture for us, allowing us to slope off round the corner and have a nice meal at the local pub instead... We spent just one night at Wortley Cottage but it was quite delightful. Really comfy beds, sizeable ensuites, and run by Su and Tony, who couldn't have been more helpful. It's set in a lovely little village and we had a superb evening meal at the pub just round the corner and then breakfast cooked by Sue at the B&B... More

We stayed in Tony & Sues Wortley cottage guest house for three nights when we came up to yorkshire for a wedding. We found the guest house quite easily and were able to go to our room a short time later, as it was not quite ready; we were early. Tony and Sue were marvellous. Nothing was too much trouble,... We spent a very enjoyable 3 nights in this cosy village B and B during our busy trip to what was a new area of Yorkshire for us. Su and Tony were most helpful with information before and during our stay. As well as having everything you could possibly need provided including free wifi there was a small fridge for... More

You are welcomed by Su and Tony to their cozy guest house which is homely and comfortable accommodation with an excellent breakfast in the morning. Immediately beside the B&B you have the Wortley Arms with excellent beers, wonderful food cooked by a very versitile chef. There is also the Mens Club with a range of good ales. Being on the... More

Just discovered how to reply to reviews. I'd agree about how nice this place is after a long cycle ride, just had a great day cycling round the area myself. Find us on flickr to see some of the local views. Thanks again, we really look forward to welcoming cyclists. Tony & Su More
