On arrival at this hotel, it's an immediate wow after travelling through Sheffield town. It's in a leafy suburb and you would be forgiven for thinking you had arrived in the Country. This hotel seems to have gone down the pan since it was taken over by Principal Hayley from the excellent Marriott group. The Leisure Centre is particularly bad. Maintenance and management are very poor. The pool, sauna, steam room and showers are constantly out of order. There seem to be lots of penny pinching economies e.g. no newspapers, no piano... more
