For £40 a night, this hotel was absolutely perfect! Pleasant staff, check in was quick and easy. Room was a little bit dated but comfy and roomy. Biggest bed I've ever seen in my life, could have easily fit 4 people in it! Super comfy too. Nice big bathroom, with bath and shower. Flat screen TV, the making facilities, iron,... More

Lets start with the positives, comfortable bed, very good shower, very good breakfast and breakfast service. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The bedroom has no air con and the windows have to be opened by someone at reception so at 5.00am when the noise from the deliveries and the bin men starts you can't even shut it out this then... The staff were polite and friendly, but after that it was all a bit down hill! The parking was not the easiest to find and not signposted. The bedrooms are small and painted in a very repressive red colour, and with textured walls it means the walls collect lots of dust. The bed was so soft I though it might... More

Stayed on the 31st of May. Checked in early. Lovely room. We had a deal that included Champagne, yummy. We returned to room for a pre dinner drink and the Champagne was brought speedily and chilled. We had a fantastic night around Sheffield meeting up with old friends. The breakfast on the following day was as good as any breakfast... More

Have just got back from 2nights at this hotel, Friday and Saturday night for a stag do. Having read the reviews before, was not expecting much but really rather suprised and impressed with the hotel! The review below talks about opening the window at night and then hearing delivery vans during the night - get a life ! Traffic noise... More

Paid over the odds due to a festival in Sheffield. Room 105 a night from hell. Room very small, it must be above the kitchen as all we could smell was curry then old chip fat. Beds far too soft and room far to hot and dark. Had to open windows at night but then we were kept awake most... More
