I like this hotel, the Novotel chain is my default choice here or in Europe, my first experience was in Germany in the 1980's. The Sheffield hotel is close to the station and the city centre. It has a small but adequate pool and a couple of cross trainers free to guests. The bar snacks are tasty and reasonably priced... more

Really friendly staff. Room I had was really spacious with a seperate lounge area. It was more like a suite. Fitings are new and felt tidy. Only critism would be the windows were really small and it was a bit dark. more

Pretty much what you would expect from Novotel, the hotel is good but not outstanding in any way. The room was very clean and comfortable. Stayed for two nights. Swift Check in and found I was opposite noise from building works, rang reception and was moved with minimum fuss and help offered.
