Although the railway and station have long gone The Victoria still retains the granduer and tradition that railway hotels used to have. A fine, old building which has been tastefully modernised. Clean and comfortable and a friendly, helpful staff with a superb breakfast too. Will look forward to our next visit here

Had a delightful stay at the Victoria Holiday Inn in sheffield. We were in sheffield for the half marathon and the hotel was perfect. Lovely big adjoining rooms of two adult and two kids. Fantastic breakfast and thanks to Herman the manager (on duty Sunday morning!!!!) for his hospitality. Lovely staff everywhere. We will use again. Thanks.

We loved this grand old railway hotel with fine views of the city and river Don. We only stayed one night and as we were visiting our son, we did not have dinner or breakfast at the hotel. But the room was very comfortable and with the twin beds being two doubles, we had a very comfortable night.

We booked three double bedrooms for a one night stay, all the rooms were really spacious! Check-in was really efficient and staff friendly. Plenty of parking, and the £5 charge for 24hrs was very reasonable. Great location for visiting both the city centre, Meadowhall and Motorpoint Arena. Would recommend!

It's always a pleasure to stay at the 'Royal Victoria' in Sheffield. The entire staff are always very pleasant , friendly and helpful... and the hotel itself is simply full of 'character' and so convieniently situated close to the city centre. Just arrived home after a five night stay....and already looking forward to a return visit late June.

Close to the City Centre, but quiet (location of old train station). Staff were very friendly, fitness room pretty good, room was cold but then it was -5C outside. Price very reasonable. Definitely plan to stay again. ONly downside was that the bathroom (recently refurbished) was freezing - no hearing and towel rail broken.
