I’ve stayed in Novotel twice and every time I was so impressed by the quality of the services, the people, by the nice and spacious rooms. Yes, it is centrally places and maybe no views but it’s quiet and perfect for business trips. And the personnel is so friendly and always ready to answer to your questions or requests. Definitely... more

I stayed in the Novotel Reading over the annual Reading music festival weekend, because I used to stay at the nearby Renaissance hotel, which became the Penta and they took out the entire swimming pool and health club area during their refurbishment to create a larger restaurant area. Not only did they take away their leisure facilities, but the room... more

I stayed for just a night and I arrived at 21.30. I had a superior room queen bed. Good price. The hotel is situated in the very centre of town. I could not use the leisure centre as it closes at 22.00 and the restaurant closes at the same time, although apparently you can order the same food at the... more

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last weekend and I have to say that I was very disappointed. I found the staff to be incredibly rude and to be honest they all looked unhappy in their jobs. The only positive thing I can say is that the breakfast was very nice. Everything else is negative - expensive drinks... more

I had a great weekend stay with the family. The hotel staff was quite friendly but efficient upon check in. At the weekend the hotel seems to cater to families but hotel seems well equiped for business travelers during the week. The hotel is centrally located near the train station (no train noise heard from our rooms) and high street... more

Great location for bus & train station including the airport coaches and of course taxis. Very pleasant rooms with all amenities excellent showers in a small but well laid out bathroom. Seperate toilet a bonus. An international staff who genuinely want to please & are very attentive without being overbearing. Even after 4 months I am happy and have looked... more

I could not honestly criticise anything about the Hotel, food or staff. The restaurant offers a varied and wide range of choice for all tastes and... more
