Very good hotel in the centre of Reading. I stayed for 2 nights for business in an executive room on the 13th floor. The room was big, clean and beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The wifi coverage was good both in the room and in the public areas. Also the breakfast was very good, with a... More

Stayed here for one night on a saturday. Being in the centre of Reading, I feared for a noisy night, but the room I had was very quiet. The staff at check in and the bar was very friendly and helpful. The room was larger than the average Novotel room I am used to. The breakfast buffet offered a good... More

I was pretty disappointed with my stay at the novotel. I hadn't fully appreciated quite how much of a replica all of their properties are. It feels as if you could be anywhere in Europe as soon as you step in. The reception staff were slow for the bizarre reason that they insisted on telling me useless information. They literally... Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. I will certainly share with the Reception team the need to adjust the level of information they give to guests arriving. Many guests prefer lots of information but equally, some do not, and the team need to be alert to this difference. In... More

Had a two night stay here for a Christmas shopping weekend. We had an executive room (811) which was lovely. Great size room. Nice big comfy bed, bathroom with bath and shower cubicle (shower lovely and powerful too). Separate loo which was handy. Good dressing table with plenty of mirrors around. Nice coffee machine, fridge and safe. Breakfast was excellent.... More

Not expensive for the value you get that's why I gave it an excellent rating. You can use the swimming pool. The only I didn't like is that I woke up late the next morning. The checkout was at 12. I called and asked the reception to give me an extra hour and they told me it will cost £10.... More

Nothing more than 3 star hotel. The parking is difficult to find and in addition the allocated lots are very narrow, it is expensive. The hotel is central and not convenient if you have to go to the university, the bus 19 is just around the corner but during the peak ours it is a never ending wait.
