we stayed at this hotel on a weekend, where do I begin....I can honestly say it was the worse hotel I have stayed in, did I miss-read the details - a 4 star hotel it was not. It was dirty, badly in need of updating, the staff could'nt care less, very slap dash attitude. The balcony to our room had... More

I booked this hotel for the 4 star rating it was awful. The room was dirty the building falling apart. The bar and restaurant looks like something from a very bad oap home. The staff were awful and customer service was rubbish. Breakfast was disgusting and I wouldn't serve my dog it. Overall I wont be returning which is a... More

I booked hotel via a holiday web as a 4 stars hotel with a nice view. However it failed to hit at any of categories except the view of the lake. Staffs were lazy, seemed the hotel will be shut next day! The hotel was dirty, smelly but explained as flood in Jan. Breakfast was the worst I have ever... More

What is going on in this place? Booked into this hotel on a Friday night after a wonderful day at Nirvana Spa, looking forward to a nice meal in the restaurant which looked lovely on the website. There were only about 6/7 other cars in the car park. The restaurant wasn't open as also half if the hotel apparently due... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend in April for 2 nights, bed breakfast and evening meal. The hotel is lovely and as it is set on the lake it's very picturesque. Our room was huge, I think we had a corner plot, and was more than adequate and had a balcony that overlooked the lake. Would have been better if there... More

Very nice setting and picturess staff morning and night very helpful and polite My only gripe is that the hotel could use a little make over outside and a slight clean up when venturing around the grounds. The rooms where things have been repaired need to be (as you say) snagged a little better and simple basic repairs would up... More

The positive- location at the lake was great but not enough to bring this experience up to more than one star! Reception was un enthusiastic, room was dated, bath room interior was broken in several areas and no a/c not wifi. To top it off, the chef (!) prepared our eggs to order in the microwave despite us being the... More

Hotel is in a nice location. Having a room overlooking the lakes is a nice touch. Décor is clean but looks tired in places. Room was functional and clean, but a little dated. The TV had very limited channels and was an old CRT set that looked 15 years old! Kettle didn't work either. Initial welcome to hotel was fine.... More

Lovely setting right on the lake. Two things let the hotel down. One is the service which wasn't proactive and I got the distinct impression I was being ignored for a minute or two as staff busied themselves with other jobs while not looking at me directly (I am tall and substantially built so not easy to miss). When the... More

I would just to like to say a big thank you to the staff at the hotel, they were welcoming and we found bar staff and restaurant staff equally as pleasant. You can see where the flooding has called some damage but our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the picturesque lake. The food in the restaurant was delicious.... More
