Stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it! Room was very clean and view was lovely looking out onto the lake. Had a 3 course meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Staff very attentive . Breakfast was excellent too! Can't wait to visit again. more

I would reccomend this hotel to everyone! We had our wedding reception here in December 2007 and I can honestly say from start to finish it was made perfect by the staff. The events co ordinator sorted every last detail out for me from day one.The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have the most amazing chef there. His food went... more

Stayed here whilst attending a work function in the area. Would not go back here of my own freewill. The room had no AC, and in the middle of summer it was unbearable. Had to sleep with the balcony door open to cool down! No free internet, minimal choice of TV channels, single beds and the location is miles away... more

If you are travelling on business and are in the M4 corridor area, this hotel is ideal. The hotel is just north of the M4 on the edge of Reading and is located on a lake, with all rooms having a private balcony looking at the Lake. Great when you've had a bad day you can come back and chill... more

The room was pleasant, well proportioned but with a small bathroom. Room (and hotel) was clean with a comfortable bed (2 singles in room). Reasonable internet access. My room... more

Copthorne reading hotel was a lovely, peaceful setting for a weekend away. Rooms: I stayed in a superior room which was very nice indeed. I think they are worth the extra money. It was spacious, the bed was comfy and the view from the balcony was great. The decoration in the room was good but the bathroom did look a... more

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere - if you want to venture out to local restaurants etc, this isn't the place for you! Food in the hotel is mediocre and overpriced. Choice of food in the main restaurant is limited to say the least Rooms reasonable - beautiful view of lake but paper thin walls so hope you... more

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding at the hotel. The whole experience was very nice. Smartly presented. Our room looked over the lake - it was a lovely setting. Very quiet. Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't up to scratch and the shower did'nt produce much water. The wedding function room was beautifully presented and the... more
