Stayed here for two nights visiting Reading for a family wedding. Emailed the reception a week beforehand to ask about local hairdressers but they didn't bother to reply. Room decor a bit cheap and dated. Filthy carpet. Gunky shower curtain that sticks to you when you shower. Window opens to allow cooler air in, no air con, worth noting there... More

Average hotel, close to city centre. Good breakfast. Room was big enough for two people (twin beds room), breakfast was average. It offers few English dishes, but not really tasty. If you come later, you may not find some of dishes, because they don't refiil

Arrived at about 21:00 feeling very hungry, first thing check the room then food. well the room had a smashed power socket by the desk and an old pair of someone's socks under the desk. Down to the bar for food as the restaurant (if that is what you want to call it) served until 21:30. Service was lousy, I... More

Arrived here late in evening for a business trip. My room was quite strange as it seems I was in the loft! The walls were all sloped and there were pillars in the room, one of which blocked the TV from the bed. Had to keep remembering to bend down to avoid hitting my head. Bed was ok and room... More

Stayed here this week on recommendation of colleagues who have apartments nearby. It was okay, no complaints even if it was a little underwhelming. Staff were good enough to ask the room next door to pipe down as they appeared to have a rave going on making a right racket. Once they were asked there were no further issues. Breakfast... More

Really enjoyed my stay, free wifi, room well decorated to very high standard. Room & Bathroom very clean, relaxing hot water. Good choice for breakfast, full English, cereal or continental. Staff friendly & efficient especially at reception Would definitely stay again and recommend for business or pleasure trip.

I stayed for two nights, and whilst the hotel is convenient, rooms and public areas were clean and presentable, I am convinced that this is a hotel waiting for some important finishing touches. Staff were polite but not overly enthusiastic, my room was comfortable and quiet, however the small balcony off the bedroom had not been finished, becoming merely an... More

Stayed at the International for 3 nights in July. It was a particular hot time and the rooms had no form of air con or fans so sleeping was difficult at night.Beds were too hard for me but they were King size. Bedroom was larger than average but very plain and felt empty with no pictures. 2 nights we slept... More

I stayed here for two nights business and this hotel had many good and bad points. Upon arrival I was checked in and the room hadn't been made up and was an absolute mess, I was then asked to wait in the lobby until it was cleaned instead of moving me to another room. The rooms are quite old and... More

Park side international hotel is an unremarkable hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable and Internet works well. The hotel is just over a mile's walk from the town centre and there is plenty of free parking. Reception is fine. Breakfasts are adequate with speedy cooked breakfast although some of the food had clearly been cooked a while before. Prices are... More
