I stayed here on a Thursday night for a business trip, the reception area was clean, modern and smelled nice, the bar and lounge area was also very pleasant, the food was good and sensibly priced, and the service good, they also offer free WiFi which is good Negatives, this is obviously a hotel popular with contractors, the car park... Stayed on saturday 6th untill monday 8th. Can honestly say it was the worst hotel i've ever stayed in. Who in the world starts drilling and hammering 8am on sunday! The carpets where all worn and dirty/stained. The water in the bath turned a yellow colour. Breakfast was awfull. The only good thing about this hotel was the good tv's!... More

Few words spring to mind to describe this hotel.. Even Bear Grylls would struggle to stay in such a dump. The only laughing point is that these guys have the audacity to advertise their rooms as "luxury bedrooms" Had to stay here for a stop over as close to the motorway, what a mistake this was. Arrived & greeted by... More

Booked into this hotel for one night. Reasonable price but food wasn't great and a bit of a limited menu. Breakfast was just ok really as only just warm but enough choice and coffee was good. Our room was standard double nit big bed like premier inns and almost fell out of it twice. Room was far to warm even... More

This hotel wasn't good. The shower leaked, the toilet didn't flush properly and took ages to fill up. The bedspread was torn, the window wouldn't open properly and the lighting in the room was very poor. Breakfast is served on a sunday 08.00-10.00, we went down just after 08.30, there were not cleared tables,it took the staff ages to clear... More

There is a reason that this place is ranked on Tripadvisor as 26th out of 32 hotels in Reading. I thought as I emerged from the dribbly shower having been hugged by the plastic shower curtain, 'this place would be okay if it was in Moscow or Kinshasa'. But in Reading, albeit a place whose charms are elusive, one optimistically... More

On arrival the hotel looked in a poor state of repair. Reception area clean and bright.Check in was very smooth. Directed to our double room on 2nd floor. Unfortunatley the same couldnt be said for our room. On opening the door to our non smoking room we were hit with the smell of stale cigarette smoke and on opening the... More

I have to say I stayed in lots of hotels but this hotel has to be the filthiest . The throw on the bed had bodily fluids , I could not even touch the shower curtain with black mould and god knows what.it was noisy with doors banging and thin Walls . The breakfast was worse if you could believe... More

The hotel is tired at best. Sparse Old fashioned bedroom furniture, bedside table had cigarette burns, poor lighting, 1980's T.V . No hot water in shower at night and whilst I thought my luck was in because the shower ran warm in the morning this was short lived as the tap the fell off the wall. Towels old and greying.... More
