The hotel is situated on the main road into Reading, less than 10 minutes to the Oracle on a very frequent bus service and has free parking, so we left the car there all day. It is an Edwardian building, very clean and well presented. Our room (4) was spacious, warm and nicely decorated, it was really pleasant and comfortable... More

The Bath hotel is not badly located as its near to the Rivermead Centre and the Oracle complex. Rooms are fairly small but comfortable with hair dryer shower and tv in the room and also tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is normally included and is not bad. My only concern is if the hotel is sold out I doubt there would... More

Paid £50 for a single room. Room is nicer than travelodge and staff are friendly. Decor is nice actually, and not depressing like some cheap places. Walls are somewhat thin and it's close to a rail line, but I didn't find either too bad. Can't beat it for the price! :-)

I stayed here alone and as a lone female I felt very comfortable and safe. My room was warm and comfortable and although the bathroom was a bit dated it was clean and adequate. The staff were excellent and always asked if everything was ok. The breakfast was lovely and again the staff couldn't do enough to make me feel... More

This is a cheap and cheerful hotel. It's what you would expect for the money in Reading. Bathroom could perhaps do with a refurb but room itself was warm and clean. Very little traffic noise although at front of hotel facing on to A4. Breakfast ok and plentiful. Staff pleasant.

Stayed there for 4 nights on business. The first night after a drink in the bar my colleagues and I made our way to the restaurant only to be blocked quickly by staff who informed they were not serving food. We made our way back to the bar for food to be told we stoped serving. I said it was... More

Needed a hotel that was cheap and near London and found this Hotel well reviewed. Rooms are quite small but clean, nothing pretentious. Food was available until 8pm so I never got to try it. There is food nearby if you arrive later as I did. Its an easy bus or taxi to and from Reading Station. If you want... More

We chose this hotel because it seemed reasonable value & had 2 good reviews on Trip Advisor. It was also close to our daughter's new house & we had offered to look after our 10 month old grandson on moving day. Arrived & given a room which could only be described as pokey but was in the main clean if... More

A great price for a one nighter. Very close to public transport and close enough to walk into the centre of Reading. Bright and airy communal rooms, staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was of a good quality and delivered to the table very quickly. Room comfy with tea and coffee making facilities and extra large shower. Bed was a... More
