Yes, OK, it's a travelodge. It's cheap - at £19 for a family room you can't hope to beat the value - and it's convenient for the motorway. It has beds which are reasonable, showers which work and the room we ended up in was clean. Shut the windows and you can't hear the motorway. But don't pay the full... more

This is a regular stop for us on a cheap break. We always have a disabled room ,usually in the new block. A little noise from the entrance is a price one pays for having easy access but never found it a problem. Travelodge are cutting facilities to the bone so we never expect top class but in return we never... more

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights as part of the Travelodge summer promotion - only £9 per room per night. On the basis that the rooms were very very cheap - I feel I can not complain but if I had paid the going rate of £50, I would be very disappointed. Rooms were very basic. clean overall but... more

We recently had to book into this motel at short notice, thus paying £50 for the room. We were late to bed and tired but in the morning we discovered there was water pouring out through the waste pipe in the bath and had been doing so continually during our stay. We found that it stopped when we flushed the... more

I am having the worst stay I can imagine at Travelodge Westbound and seriously advise you move on. No wonder it was the only hotel with rooms available in this area for the dates I needed. I arrived yesterday and checked in (ensure you avoid any room number under 120 - read on). The room was icy cold as the... more

Stayed here on our way back from a trip to London. Checked in 12:30am, David on the front desk was very attentive for that time of day, as you would expect, no waiting to checkin. Room was a good size, with a sofa, small t.v and very comfy dble bed. Room was suprisingly quiet given location next to the M4.... more

I use this hotel quite a lot when working away near Reading. If you can get the saver rate then the hotel is good value for money - I don't think the hotel is worth the full rate though. The rooms are basic but clean. The hotel joins onto a Moto service station so no problems in getting something to... more

I would highley reccommed this Travelodge. The lodge it self is perfect with all the necessary amenities around the area, M&S food store, coffee shop, Burger King etc. The room was spacious, extremly clean and very well presented. I will be booking this again. And also the town centre of Reading was fantasic the main shopping centre Oracle was fab.... more

Not much too add to what has already been said. Travelodge is a good chain. I booked it on line, a few hours before I went. No trouble at all. more
