We stayed here to watch Ipswich play Reading. This was the second time we had stayed here and, once again, we came away smiling. This a fantastic hotel. We had a club room for 5 of use including the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel for 106 gbp Fantastic! more

My room was an inside room. There was no notice of this when I booked the room. I was informed there was natural light but unlike many of the rooms overlooking the atrium my room overlooked a bar and had a wall directly outside the window preventing natural light Booked an alarm call for 7 am on my first night,... more

Perfect location for watching games at the Madejski stadium - right next door. Staff on reception were fine, entrance hall is modern, airy, with comfy seats if you are waiting for a cab etc. Room was easy to find, and spacious. The room looked modern, pleasantly decorated. Very comfy bed! Usual layout, selection of tea, coffee etc. Good options for... more

Arrived on a match day, with my wife and children to arrive later that day. Formal check in with Polish or Russian receptionist. Entered my room, to find a huge bed, lounge area with a sofa, table and chairs, then the second huge bed. TFT screen on the wall and a large desk. Trust me, this room you could party... more

Very pleasent hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean and tidy. The restuarant served a good hearty breakfast. The rooms had internet access via the TV, pay per view movies with freeview channel tv stations. The water was always hot and there is a iron board, iron and hairdryer in the room too. But i found that the bed... more

a truly fantastic hotel - we booked 2 nghts just to relax after christmas and had our 2 year old with us. Staff were very friendly, efficient and nothing too much trouble for them. There was everything you could have wanted on offer at breakfast and again fast efficient service. We had a room overlookng the car park which was... more

I booked a double room on this hotel's website in November as we had also booked tickets for the London Irish v Gloucester game.. On arrival circa 1.30pm the match day stewarts(a very cheery bunch) directed us to the Hotel car park (no hassle parking considering there were 12,000 people in the vicinity). There is a small car park at... more

I had a room with view on an internal space, where there is a bar. The window could not open, but I have not problems with that, provided there is sufficient air recirculation, which seemed the case. Sound insulation was very good. It was late autumn and the room was pretty warm (I usually kept air conditioning off, since it... more

We found the booking in very quick and easy and on first sight the room looked spacious and comfortable but when we looked out of the window (which didnt open) we found we were overlooking a function room and there was no outside view. (fortunatley there were no functions on that weekend so I can't say how good the sound... more

Just spent a fab weekend at this hotel. Check in was very smooth and were able to access our room at midday even though it stated 2pm on the booking confirmation. We stayed in room 317 which was one that had floor to ceiling patio doors which made it nice and bright in the room. Would definately recommend asking for... more
