My husband and I stay here in March for a long weekend. We arrived early, but thought we would knock just to see if we could leave our bags. but Jason welcomed us and said the room was ready so in we moved. We had a small double at the top of the house, but I have to say it... More

We stayed in the small double on the 2nd floor for 1 night. The room is small but has everything you need. Bed was comfortable and bedding was crisp and fresh. All facilities were very clean. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was filling and I'm sure the toast would have just kept coming if we... More

We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend with two of our children. The B&B is situated right in the centre of Woodstock which was ideal as it gave easy access to local restaurants and within walking distance of Blenheim Palace. Both rooms were very comfortable and clean with tea, coffee facilities in the rooms. The breakfast... More

We always enjoy our stay here. The hosts are very welcoming and do everything they can to assist. The breakfast is excellent and the location is about as near as you can get to the Palace. The building may not suit anyone who cannot manage steep stairs but apart from that it provides a splendid stay and good value for... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Townhouse where our friendly and welcoming hosts could not have done more to make our stay a happy one. We stayed in "Henrietta" on the first floor. The room was small which is typical of Woodstock and it was very clean with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee are provided in... More

A good value room, a bit small but not unexpected given the type of property. Cosy and clean. didn't like note saying don't take the complementary drinks unless you are drinking them, a bit over the top that. Friendly host and good breakfast, but boy the kitchen smells got around the place even though it was an airy annex at... More

Dear Yordrib, Thank you very much for your review and we are sorry about the smell in the kitchen and this is one thing we are unable to achieve as a listed building, we are so sorry about this! About the complementary drinks, we do not know where and when did you see the note saying 'don't take the complementary... More

Comfortable & clean rooms. Better equipped than some hotels I've stayed in. Choice of tea & coffee in room. There was nothing these guys hadn't thought of. Breakfast was gorgeous they catered for my vegetarian gluten free requests & even gave me a coffee to go. My late arrival that day was no problem after I emailed them. They even... More

Thanks to other TripAdvisor reviewers, I chose The Townhouse for a four-night stay with my father during a trip to celebrate his 80th birthday. It was everything I'd hoped for, and more. The inn is spotlessly clean and cozy, and the proprietors are genuinely caring and considerate. I could feel myself relax in the pretty little breakfast room, with skylights... More

Where to start. Great stay in Woodstock. We were very impressed with the hotel…the town…the pepper and Blenheim palace. The hotel was spotlessly clean and recently refurbished in the rooms. Coffee plus treats were very much appreciated. Water pressure and quantity was the best experienced of four b and B's on this trip. Breakfast. The dining area is in the... More

We had an excellent stay in this pretty house in the middle of Woodstock. The rooms were comfortable and not too noisy and the breakfast was excellent - lots of variety (omelettes and sandwiches as well as the usual Full English) and well cooked. The proprietors were friendly without out being too chatty. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.
