You couldn't wish for a more helpful and welcoming hostess. The rooms are quirky, fun, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is hot and fresh. Very good value. Parking is on the street which can be difficult for an overnight stay in Woodstock

Why spend a fortune staying at a Glitzy hotel when you can stay at this very reasonably priced B &B in the centre of Woodstock. It is very comfortable , clean and with one of Martha's English Breakfasts, you will not need to eat again for hours. Much has been said about the quirkiness of the rooms - we stayed... More

We are 5 and were looking for accommodation in the area for a cycle ride down the canal to Oxford and this seemed one of the only options. We stayed in the "Flat" which Martha supported our needs with 3 single beds with more than adequate room for baggage, seating etc. My wife and I had a separate room off... More

This is a real B & B in the sense that it is a large family house (a very very old house) run as a business. Everything below is accurate in terms of quirkiness but sometimes that quirkiness intrudes on convenience. I stayed in the topmost room and it was a real climb with heavy bags up a very narrow... A gorgeous smell of fresh flowers hits you as you walk past the flower shop in the entrance and the slightly higgledy piggledy stone tile pavings takes you past some rather interesting hanging artwork up the timber panelled staircase............ A little bazaar but very quaint. Very friendly service and amazingly comfortable bed in a beautiful area. The Muddle Room (Not... More

Great stay in a great location right on the highsteet. Lovely old house and rooms. Beams and antiques. Martha is a very welcoming host. Going out of her way to cook an early breakfast. Which was also lovely. Thoroughly recommended.

This was my second visit to the Pollen B&B and again, another great stay. I stayed both times for work and found Martha to be extremely welcoming and friendly, making sure I was well fed for the day with a massive English Breakfast and yummy warm croissant. I stayed in the Muddle room both times, which was very comfortable and... More

A beautifully run B&B in the very heart of Woodstock. The rooms are quirky, characterful and filled with an eclectic mix of antiques but extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our room was a suite of rooms and would be perfect for a family. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at pollen for one night, its a bit like staying in a friends spare room. Its quite old fashioned with pictures, plates and bits and pieces everywhere...The bed is so high a plastic step is provided! You eat breakfast round a big table in the kitchen, the breakfast was lovely but limited to full english, we have stayed... More

From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel welcome. Late on a Friday night and coming from London we'd brought microwaveable meals and our host let us use the kitchen to cook and eat them. Comfy beds, beautiful antiques and great breakfasts. Bath big enough to swim in too. A wonderful stay!
