Beautiful accommodation, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended, a few nights in beautiful Woodstock and a walk round Blenheim palace was a perfect tonic for a romantic stay.

A very enjoyable one night stay in a lovely town and located right next to Blenheim Palace. Evening meal was fantastic and room was comfortable and clean. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Dining room and bar area could do with a bit of refurbishment.

Chose this hotel as Oxford was sold out and could not get a room at the Randolph. Impressed on the whole, Woodstock is a charming village and the hotel is very charming. Staff are very pleasant and attentive.

An excellent short break. The room was clean and comfortable with character. The food was imaginative and very tasty. And the staff were just suberb , making us feel really welcome. The birthday card and chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch and typified the friendly attention to detail.

Booked an overnight package at a special rate which included a nice bottle of chilled wine in the room on arrival, dinner bed and breakfast and a £10 credit for incidentals. Bottled water in room which is always appreciated. The room was rather disappointing, small bathroom was very cramped with short bath, not even room for the towels which were... More

This is a fabulous property serving excellent food with lovely characterful rooms. The staff are very helpful, nothing is too much to ensure a special stay. Add in the brilliant location, and we had a perfect weekend.

The hotel was a charming place to stay having visited Blenheim Palace during the day, which is literally around the corner, and Oxford the following day. We had a very comfortable room and bed and lovely fluffy towels. The breakfast was superb as was the service.

We planned a visit to Blenheim Palace and were pleased to find that the hotel was just round the corner - really convenient. The hotel is charming half-timbered coaching inn. There is plenty of parking space. The staff were very helpful and polite. In the evening we had a delicious meal in the bar and later went up to our... More

The local area was lovely and the appearance of the hotel was very nice. The service was top quality when we arrived and the staff wanted to be as helpful as possible. The room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. The only niggle with the room was the bath was very old and a bit discoloured, it looked... More
