We needed accommodation for three nights and had great difficulty getting three nights together due to graduations I think! Lakeside Guest House is an excellent choise. We were 4 people (2 men 2 women) and they put us in the family room with 4 beds. The room was big enough so it felt not at all uncomfortable. The guest house was well situated on the ring road about 10 minutes walk from town with plenty of pubs and a good Indian restaurant nearby. My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights over the Oxford Literary Festival weekend and found it to be very good. Location is about 10 minutes walk to ChristCHurch. Clean, quiet room with good breakfast although the service was a bit slow. Would stay again if visiting Oxford or the surrounding area again. more
I stayed for one night while doing a "Harry Potter" trip around several Southwest of England locations. I was pleasantly surprised at the good level of the furniture and bathroom, after suffering at other B&B in Britain for the same price. The Lakeside guesthouse is a nice bed and breakfast in Oxford. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 75 pounds per night in an en suite room.
