Small room, old house, no service, no parking place, no breakfast. Noisy, warm. Way overpriced for what you get. Location is outside city center. Just a bit too far to walk. If you have a bicycle it is OK but there is also no possibility to park your bicycle.

Having read recent reviews about this Guesthouse we were not really looking forward to our stay here. But it was fine. The location is brilliant just by the train station and we were able to leave our luggage there while we spent the morning in town before our train. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable and had a homely touch... More

That was one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. Dirty, small and smelly (smells of damp). The host was ok but when I asked if I could have possibly left my suitcase there for few hours she mentioned something about the insurance ??? so we didn't... Breakfast wasn't included so I can't say much about on the... More

As the title says the b&b was fit for purpose. I was moving from the North to Oxford and it was a nice and clean place to stay whilst looking for acomodation. Not Buckinham Palace, but useful enough. It is quite well located, near the train station and the city centre. In my opinion, if you go there don't let... More

Stayed in this guest house for one night. It was about the cheapest accommodation going and the awful trip advisor reviews didn’t really put me off due to the fact we only wanted somewhere to get our heads down for the night after a boozy night around Oxford. Due to the awful state of the place I assumed that the... More

The place was clean and offered a good breakfast. The location is so convenient and the owners were very accommodating. This is a simple place, nothing fancy but nothing missing either. For a good nice sleep, a shower and a breakfast, the price was very good.

The place needs a major overhaul. My room had a radiator, an electric heater and a towel heater. With the electric heater on full blast I managed to get my room warm. However, the towel heater, with its suspect looking wiring never managed to heat the en-suite. The room had single glazed sash windows. These really need to be updated... More

Good location, 5 minutes walk away from train station and around 10 minute walk to the town centre. Variety of breakfast choices, both continental and traditional full English breakfast. The rooms are a good size and they have portable radiators which you can turn on and off as you wish. The cleanliness of the sheets wasn't as good as expected.... More

The most horrid place I have ever almost stayed in.I left. See the previous review. He isn't exaggerating! I thought dumps like this no longer existed. This place needs to be inspected and shut down. I can add little to the previous reviews. I couldn't find anywhere else to stay after my meeting. So I left and struggled home on... More

I have just returned from only a 1 night stay at becket guest house, and im so glad it was only 1 night, infact, if there had been another hotel nearby with vacancies i would have left straight away! As we walked up the steps to the tatty front door and entered the hall way, straight away the smell hits... More
