Fine for a cheap stay, plus you get a decent breakfast. The place is need of some TLC but the location is outstanding, less than a ten minute walk from Oxford city centre and directly outside a main bus route. You will not find anything this close to the centre for the price. more

The main reasons why we booked this B&B were its relatively central location and off street parking. The parking turned out to be inadequate. There was space for no more than half the guests, and we had to park several streets away, and keep an eye on the time due to parking restrictions. Our bedroom was OK, but the ensuite... more

I have just come back from a stag do in Oxford. We stayed at this B&B for 2 nights and it was OK. The other reviews are right: The rooms are very basic and the carpets are extremely dated. However, the accomodation was only £37 per night and we were about a 5 minute walk from the very centre of... more

We spent a couple of nights here when visiting Oxford. The best things about the guesthouse are the ease of access to the town (10-15 minute walk) and the fact that there is a car park. Car parking in Oxford is a nightmare. The "Head of the River" pub on the way into town is about a 5 minute walk... more

Just got back from a stay in Oxford. We stayed at the Sportsview Guesthouse. It is located really close to the city centre. The service we received was very good. The room had been recently decoarted to a high standard and was ensuite. We had lots of choice for breakfast and could hardly move we were that full! If you... more

If you need something for less than $100 a night in Oxford, this place will due and they throw in a full English breakfast, just don't expect too much luxury. I stayed two nights and arrived late the first. First room was very small and the second was quite cushy. Both had shared bathrooms but never saw any sign of... more

If you enjoy mold on the carpet and walls, this is the place for you. It is a horrible place to stay, so don't! more

We stayed here one night in May and booked rather late which may explain why we were in a cramped basement room. The house is on a busy road, and the traffic noise was very loud. The room we stayed in was below street level, so the window looked out onto a brick retaining wall, which may have acted like... more

Gary and Lorraine Wright are the Managers of this Guest House situated down Abingdon Road. It is ideally placed for visiting Christ Church Cathedral and the other colleges and has private parking. Seven of us were in Oxford for a Gathering of the Friends of Cathedral Music and we were made very welcome. A good sense of humour coupled with... more
