The place is really quite basic for an average rate of around 85 pounds per night and we were quite upset that there was no real wifi in the room. In the end, to get online we would need to go to the lobby for a spell and each time we would have to manually log back into the system... More

Rewley house was easy to find a short walk from the train station, easy check in and then directed to room across the square. Great security with 3 sets of keys and doors to manage. Twin room was very basic but clean. Big bathroom with 'warm' water. It is a cross between a hostle and low budget hotel.

Rewley House is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance from most university destinations and reasonable walking distance from the train station. I stayed in a deluxe double room, which are in a recently-renovated house on Wellington Square. As such, the room and en-suite were both in excellent condition and quite comfortable. Breakfast is in the main Rewley House... More

I have stayed at a few hotels and b&bs in Oxford. In my opinion Rewley House is a good deal for the price they charge. Please keep in mind that its a university accommodation and you can also book a room at one of the old Oxford colleges for about the same price. Breakfast in the morning is very good.... More

I love Rewley House. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. It is clean, centrally located, basic good value - great breakfast. It is in a perfect location for everything I needed to do. The staff on the desk are friendly and helpful. You don't get fussed over, you are on your own - the bed... More

We were visiting our daughter at university and had a two night stay in the suite. This was quite big and very bright. I was a little worried because it did not say this was refurbished but pleasantly surprised and it was better than expected. A few issues with housekeeping but these were promptly rectified. We wouldn't hesitate to go... More

Clean, adequate and a step above the traditional Oxford college rooms. To my delight, it included a fan as well as a TV. Oxford summers can we hot even if the night is typically cool. While there is no a/c the windows that open to Wellington Square helps a bit. The coffee/tea service is a helpful addition for a late... More

Situated on the second floor with easy access via a lift. Central location, near Tesco express and Italian cafes approx. 10-15 minutes from the train station. Twin beds and flat screen T.V in the bedroom. Shower over the bath. Bed settee, dinning table and kitchen area with enough cutlery and crockery for three, electric hob and oven. Another flat screen... More

This is a challenging property to rate. I would give it 5 stars for location, but 2 stars for comfort as we scarcely slept for the 4 nights we were there at the end of June because of the intense heat on the 4th floor and the lack of reasonable airflow, even with a fan. It's hard to imagine a... More

We have been visiting Oxford over the last 4 years and are sad that we only discovered the wonderful Rewley House on what will was probably our 2nd last visit!! The accommodation is so central and only a 5min walk from the bus station. We had a newly refurbished twin room in No37. It was huge with a very spacious... More
