Clean, adequate and a step above the traditional Oxford college rooms. To my delight, it included a fan as well as a TV. Oxford summers can we hot even if the night is typically cool. While there is no a/c the windows that open to Wellington Square helps a bit. The coffee/tea service is a helpful addition for a late... More

Situated on the second floor with easy access via a lift. Central location, near Tesco express and Italian cafes approx. 10-15 minutes from the train station. Twin beds and flat screen T.V in the bedroom. Shower over the bath. Bed settee, dinning table and kitchen area with enough cutlery and crockery for three, electric hob and oven. Another flat screen... More

This is a challenging property to rate. I would give it 5 stars for location, but 2 stars for comfort as we scarcely slept for the 4 nights we were there at the end of June because of the intense heat on the 4th floor and the lack of reasonable airflow, even with a fan. It's hard to imagine a... More

We have been visiting Oxford over the last 4 years and are sad that we only discovered the wonderful Rewley House on what will was probably our 2nd last visit!! The accommodation is so central and only a 5min walk from the bus station. We had a newly refurbished twin room in No37. It was huge with a very spacious... More

"All rooms en-suite"... Well mine certainly wasn't. Despite the lack of en-suite facilities, the room itself was clean and kept my reasonably warm overnight. However the bed was like sleeping on a pile of bricks and several times overnight, I considered packing up and heading into the office just for a little comfort. There are times when even a park... We stay here when we are studying at nearby Rewley House (OUDCE) and it's always a reliable and good choice. We had the new superior singles this time which were excellent and just a cut above the standard singles so a great pleasure. Comfortable and quiet and well placed for eating in Little Clarendon Street or Walton Street and for... More

This is a basic but good value accommodation in a good location. The rooms are in a number of separate houses in the square. Keys are collected from the University department reception and you make your own way from there. Don't expect to see a Concierge or any valets! One problem: they have a room where you can leave your... More

Recently stayed here and would happily go back. I booked the basic room as I knew I wouldn't be spending very much time there and it was fine. Clean and comfortable. Hotel is very central, less than 5 minute walk from theatres and city centre. Happy to recommend

Rewley House is part of the university, and should really be compared with other student accommodation rather than with a hotel. Budget accommodation in the centre of Oxford is pretty scarce, and Rewley House is a good option. Our twin room was spacious and well equipped, and breakfast is excellent.

I loved the Rewley House operation in general. The rooms themselves weren't so bad. The breakfast was good and it was conveniently located for other attractions in Oxford. However, their advertisement said luxurious accommodations. That is basically a lie. The walls were paper thin and the single bed I had was not big enough for an adolescent...with springs one could... More
