Very well situated in the centre of Oxford at a very reasonable price. Well appointed room, helpful staff and connected to the Turl St Kitchen where you get fantastic food, including breakfast as part of the room rate. Both facilities are run by a Student Hub as a social enterprise. We had the red room on the 3rd floor which... More

This is a very pleasant guesthouse in an extremely good location for all of Central Oxford's sights and facilities. Rooms are comfortable and have all you need. It is an ancient building so ceilings are low, floors sloping, beams prevalent and staircases steep and narrow. That's it's charm, but obviously people who are less able to cope with that should... We stayed here in July, better late for a review than never, and were very pleased with our room (Red Room) and the friendly staff. Our room was on the first floor and had a window overlooking a garden in Jesus College - just a magical touch. The room was a good size and clean. Staff were very helpful especially... More

The Tower House offers loads of charm at an affordable price in a great location in Oxford. But be warned that there is not much more. There is no reception area, and the entire staff seems to comprise one very friendly and accommodating lady. But they make it work with the cooperation of the neighboring and very excellent Turl Street... More

Back right in the centre of Oxford City Centre, this quirky, boutique guest house is perfect for getting about. Dont expect lots of mod cons, but why would you with Oxford literally out of your front door. Room was perfect for our stay, with ample space, lovely bath / shower room and nice bed. Reception staff were very nice and... More

The only positive thing I can say is it's incredible location. Other than that, blech! The nice lady checked us in to a room the size of a closet. I said it was not acceptable, so she moved us to a room that has a six foot ceiling. I'm almost six foot tall, but the beams was lower. I walked... More

The tower house is a super charming guest house at the very heart of beautiful Oxford. A warm welcome by the most lovely lady :-) The room was very spacious, modern bathroom and nice and clean. We enjoyed afternoon tea and breakfast in their restaurant on the corner. Very tasty! Next time we will also allow time to try the... More

In the middle of Oxford with everything as close as it gets. Situated in a very old house and with an atmosphere that really makes you travel back in time… This means that there are narrow stairs, no elevator and a lack of height, it is a hotel without a “proper” reception and the rooms are small and we had... Great location for a short stay, right in the centre of Oxford.. Check in is a bit different, as you have to go a few doors down to the Turl Street Kitchen which is a trendy cafe come bar.. Polite young lady took myself and a elderly couple to the hotel/guesthouse which is quite quirky with narrow passage ways and... More

I booked this hotel as I was attending a wedding local and it was the closest and cheapest I could find. It was a lovely old fashion b&b although we had a shared bathroom some may not like this, breakfast was ok but not much to choose from. Staff were helpful keeping our luggage safe when we couldn't check in... More
