Good hotel, comfortable beds. Window can be opened though not fully, no air con, but preferable to me. Breakfast not the full works but perfectly adequate and included. To get int the centre, we found driving to park& ride best. Alternatively, taking the local but is a lot slower, crowded, and you have to walk quite a bit to get to... More

Great stay just outside Oxford City centre. Good acces by car and bus to the city centre only 10 minutes by car. The hotel is a new modern building with good facilities. Fast check inn and check out. Clean and big rooms with comfy bed. Great breakfast is included in the price and free WIFI for members. There is also... More

Contrary to what their website says, there is no AC in the rooms so be warned if you are travelling during the warm summer. They are not near the city centre but they have negotiated a decent rate with a local taxi company, 10 GBP. The room was clean, breakfast was mediocre at best.

First time I'd stayed in this chain & was reasonably impressed. Breakfast included in price which was basic but fine. Hotel quiet considering it was full. Main drawback is location, you need to drive or get a cab to go into Oxford or to get anything to eat (the adjoining housing estate which has a bus service one of Oxfords... More

I travel on business and use many hotels especially in and around the oxford area. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights recently. Pro's: 1. The room was quiet 2. The room was clean 3. The price was reasonable for the standard of hotel 4. The hotel was in good condition. Con's 1. The hotel was overrun by people... More

Dear Guest Thank you for sending in your feedback. I am sorry that you were disappointed with certain aspects of your stay. This was our second stay at this motel. Comfortable with a very good breakfast the staff was very friendly, no problems. It was a little out of the way and not within walking distance to much of anything. Both stays there was a tour bus of foreign tourists staying which was no problem but they all wanted breakfast the same... More

We were by no means expecting four or five star accommodation for our overnight stay in Oxford, but it was on par with a Premier Inn and ideal if you're not going to spend too much time where you're staying. We managed to get an ok deal on the price by booking in advance online and doing some research. The... More

Dear guest Thank you for posting your review. I am pleased to read that the hotel suited your needs. £145 a night for a view of a ring road, 2 teabags and no restaurant! There's not much more to add, there's an overpriced bar, a vending machine and the usual surly eastern european staff that you'd expect to find in your standard soulless chain hotel. I wasn't expecting a holiday inn express to be the Waldorf Astoria but then... More

Dear Guest Thank you for posting your feedback. It seems that your room rate was £119. The maximum room rate has been up to £125; breakfast and wifi are inclusive. Our room rates go up and down according to the demand and Oxford has been very busy recently. If you have been charged £145, I would ask that you contact... More

I stay in a few Holiday Inn Expresses around the country and was a liitle disappointed. Dear guest Thank you for posting your comments. Whilst I am pleased to read that the staff were friendly, I am very sorry that you found it too noisy and also the wifi didn't work properly. I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel well decorated with comfortable furnishings; the bed was good, ditto bathroom and room generally - cleaning of high standard; walking distance of several restaurants; breakfast more than acceptable as included in the price - just avoid Oxford United match days as it would be chaotic then!
