Stayed here for a weekend in Oxford, mostly very good but a few things need addressing to make the experience match the look of the hotel. The room we had was lovely just a couple of quibbles as the remote was broken and only needed taping up and the shower was gutless, the type where you have to run around... More

I stopped here during a business trip to Oxford, the hotel was ideal as it’s outside of the city and has plenty of car parking available. I booked B&B, however I overslept slightly and missed breakfast and was in a rush to get to my meeting, on hearing this the staff quickly made me a breakfast and coffee to go,... More

Just home from a lovely stay at this hotel. We had the four poster room which overlooked the beautiful gardens. This hotel really is lovely hotel. The bedroom was spotless as was the bathroom. Nice bar area and the cooked breakfast this morning was lovely and very filling! Would definitely go back.

We researched many venues in the Abingdon/Oxford area and settled on the Westwood because of it's lovely setting, it is close to our home and an independent hotel the size of which was perfect for a smallish wedding (70 guests with 30 or so extra in the evening - although they can do bigger). The General Manager Drew Ireson was... More

We got married here in 2014, we bought a wedding package which was great because practically everything was covered at a fixed price. The hotel was certainly a lovely setting for a wedding, with a nice big garden perfect for photos, and the children enjoyed playing outside. The hotel staff all worked tirelessly to prepare the main room for our... More

Lovely looking hotel that served a purpose however was extremely overpriced for its offering. Room was tiny - hit my head three times on the slanted roof that restricted mobility at one end of the room. Not great location considering the taxis are awful in that area. No breakfast included which for £140.00 per room in Oxford is just ridiculous.... More

Nice public areas but some rooms are very small. Do not take attic rooms or room 22 ask for the garden rooms or avoid. My bathroom was a corridor and the shower door hit the sink when opened. The toilet is under a sloping roof and very difficult to get close to especially if you are tall. Problems with breakfast... More

It is very expensive for what it is, although the staff were lovely and very helpful! We were in the room next to the boiler, so I couldn't get much sleep, because as soon as the earliest person who got up switched on the shower, the boiler woke me up!! The food was nice, although my major problem was that... More

Sorry to be blunt but this location does not deserve much time. The location was bad, rooms claustrophobic, beds tiny and general badly managed. The only saving point (from me rating this as terrible) was that the staff were nice. Stay somewhere else for half as much and get double the experience.

I stay in the family room (with 1 double and 2 singles) connecting to the beautiful garden. The room is very spacious and clean. The decoration is very nice, white and grey. Very relax in this hotel. Free carpark. 5-8 mins drive to oxford centre. An unforgettably nice hotel, will definitely come back.
