I stay in the family room (with 1 double and 2 singles) connecting to the beautiful garden. The room is very spacious and clean. The decoration is very nice, white and grey. Very relax in this hotel. Free carpark. 5-8 mins drive to oxford centre. An unforgettably nice hotel, will definitely come back.

I recently travelled from Australia to the UK and stayed at the Weswood Hotel and found my experience there to be the most pleasurable of my whole trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful the food was amazing and the room was beautiful. The gardens were amazing. I would definately recommend this Hotel to anyone wishing to visit this... More

Pretty gardens and a pleasant room. Let down by the breakfast. One waitress attentive, the other disinterested. Very limited buffet table. Location is some distance from the centre of Oxford, but Redbridge Park and Ride quite close with frequent buses into Oxford. Another minus was even though we arrived after check in time there was uncertainty whether the room was... More

I booked 3 rooms in May 2014 for a wedding locally in September Today 30th July they email me to canx the booking due to a last minute wedding booking. Now all the local hotels are full. I am disgusted that they think it is ok to accept a booking to then cancel if it suits them. The web site... More

We stayed at Westwood hotel for a family wedding. The hotel was located in a lovely location and the grounds were beautiful with really pretty gardens. However despite being in a lovely setting the price of the rooms are quite steep. There was a fair bit of hassle when checking in as we booked 3 rooms and reception had problems... More

Yes, the hotel in itself is fine. Our room was very spacious and had a wonderful view on the garden. But the breakfast was terrible. There is only a small buffet table, that contains only one plate (!) wih some cheese and meat for all guests together. The girl walking around and asking if we'd like coffee or tea showed... More

Thank you for your feedback and very sorry to read about your experience during breakfast. I have met with our waiting staff and Head Chef and addressed the points raised, once again I appreciate your feedback and I have directly used that as a training exercise for the hotel. Your comments have helped improve our service and am very confident... More

I recently spent a number of nights at the Westwood, on a golfing break with friends, and we all found the accommodation, food and service to be excellent. The Hotel itself is in a delightful country setting, but within easy reach of Oxford. The staff are particularly friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We were in Oxford for one evening and the next day and The Westwood fit the bill. It was out of town and a little hard to find (get a GPS ) but turned out great! We had dinner in their dining room which was very nice, romantic, And convenient. The room was adequate although a bit outdated, but was... More

The Westwood Hotel turned out to be a very quiet hotel with nice surroundings. Travelling by bus it was also easy to get to Oxford centre. The hotel bears sign of being a bit worn but it has a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast could be better though. Small amounts of food and when we asked for more, they brought only... More

I stayed here on business for a week and was unfortunately disappointed that the attic room I stayed in was boiling hot (on a moderately warm week). This is not really acceptable when paying nearly £150 per night. On the plus side, the surroundings are nice and its a short drive into Oxford. Also, the staff were friendly and helpful.... More
