Although this has really good location (5 mins from the train station), it's not the place to rest after a long day visiting in Oxford. In fact, as they run a pub downstairs you'll have to bear party until 2am or so. On top of that, cleaning standards are very low and breakfast service is so poor. Avoid paying so... More

Well situated in oxford city centre, average prices but it was very noisy on saturday night and my girlfriend couldn't sleep a lot. Hopefuly all nights are not like the night i was there. Breakfast was ok and the girls working in the bar are really nice

This is a pub with upstairs accommodation. We were on the top floor so no noise from the bar below but the pub backs onto the bus terminal which was soo loud!!! And loud all night long. Don't stay here... This is the worst place ever!!! Stains on bed sheets, ugly shared bathroom, smells!!!! The breakfast plates and glassware was... More

Terrible experience, we arrived to a rude staff member and it went down hill from here. We booked this for location but would never stay here again. It was dirty, noisey, had dodgy beds, bathroom and broken entry door. They advised they had a DJ for the Friday after we paid and didn't advise they had one for Saturday night... More

Don't be put off by the terrible reviews - OK, the decor of this hotel is tired (reminiscent of 1970s B and Bs) but the rooms are very spacious (I notice Americans in particular seem to complain about European room sizes - our room was bigger than my sitting room-diner at home!) and the bed very comfortable. It is above... More

Stayed at Euro bar for a weekend, and it's absolutely perfect for it. Group of friends, looking for a good cheap stay, bang in the centre of Oxford - this is the place. Even spent some of Friday night in the bar which was good fun! Would recommend to all

I travel and work all over the world and I have to say this is one of the worst places I've stayed in! The whole building is in need of renovation and has a nasty smell. In my room the paint was peeling, most furniture had a worn edge, walls were covered with "bodge jobs", my bathroom light switch stopped... More

This is a hotel for those who don't care run by people who don't care. If you like a dirty, smelling hotel with rude staff this is the place to stay. Small dirty rooms, and extremely bad (probably premade) breakfast. The location is perfect, but if you wanna stay in the city centre you should try The Buttery or The... More

I purchased this hotel for my daughter - as she wanted a hotel near the centre. Good for that but nothing else. The bed was dreadful - didn't sleep a wink. They complained and as I had purchased the room, spoke myself to the owner, he was rude to me, and said he would give me no compensation. As he... More

My husband and I chose this hotel as it was right by the bus station, great central location and cheap by Oxfords standards. It was a bit odd having to wait at the bar (which on a busy Saturday afternoon there was a little wait) to check in, but then it is primarily a bar! Our room was spacious enough... More
