The place is indeed centrally located, however this is all you will get from it. Very arrogant staff that will never reply to your complaints. Tried to sort out a few things with the owner/general manager. The Pakistani/Indian gentleman is very arrogant when it comes to responding to critics. If you complain, they always refuse to introduce themselves. At the... More

AVOID! Stayed at the B&B in this place. I paid for en suite room. Problem 1: The shower wasn't working properly on any of the nights (the force behind the shower was incredibly weak to be able to take a shower in). When I asked the reception staff they had no idea what to do about it. They claimed that... More

This is one of the most disappointing places I have ever stayed. £105 for a double room - one of the ways to access the room was via the door to the gents from the bar. The smell of urine wafted out of the toilet as we walked past, up the few flights of stairs, with stained red carpet and... More

The Euro Bar Hotel is above/attached to a very run down and dirty and noisy hotel. Reception is the bar! Access to the rooms was by narrow filthy stairwell off the bar. The toilet in the room was disgusting, the room was noisy. Breakfast was included but fortunately the hotel kitchen was out of service, so we were sent to... More

Although this has really good location (5 mins from the train station), it's not the place to rest after a long day visiting in Oxford. In fact, as they run a pub downstairs you'll have to bear party until 2am or so. On top of that, cleaning standards are very low and breakfast service is so poor. Avoid paying so... More

This is a pub with upstairs accommodation. We were on the top floor so no noise from the bar below but the pub backs onto the bus terminal which was soo loud!!! And loud all night long. Don't stay here... This is the worst place ever!!! Stains on bed sheets, ugly shared bathroom, smells!!!! The breakfast plates and glassware was... More

Terrible experience, we arrived to a rude staff member and it went down hill from here. We booked this for location but would never stay here again. It was dirty, noisey, had dodgy beds, bathroom and broken entry door. They advised they had a DJ for the Friday after we paid and didn't advise they had one for Saturday night... More

Don't be put off by the terrible reviews - OK, the decor of this hotel is tired (reminiscent of 1970s B and Bs) but the rooms are very spacious (I notice Americans in particular seem to complain about European room sizes - our room was bigger than my sitting room-diner at home!) and the bed very comfortable. It is above... More

Stayed at Euro bar for a weekend, and it's absolutely perfect for it. Group of friends, looking for a good cheap stay, bang in the centre of Oxford - this is the place. Even spent some of Friday night in the bar which was good fun! Would recommend to all
