Well, the one thing this place has going for it is it location. We stayed here for one night because we had to catch an early bus to Gatwick, so knew that it wasn't going to be a charming experience. However, it didn't even meet our [low] expectations. The room itself was fine (although you could hear/feel the plastic mattress... More

I don't even know where to begin! Firstly we got to the hotel. Based on the description of "parking available for additional cost" we assumed there must be a hotel car park. Wrong. There's a rammed full council car park which is £25 for 24 hours. I'm not naive. I know oxford is expensive but the advertisement was misleading. I... More

went away for a night as treat for the husband to see Rock of Ages in Oxford. Chose this as on the same road and close to train station Upon arrival in the squashed bar with the cheerful waitress who wasn't bothered we had to wait 10 mins whilst the other one was trying to work out what keys do... You get all the positives and negatives you'd expect from staying right next to the bus station and above a bar. So if you ignore those, then I'd have to say that this was decent value for money. Our room was fine - and our impression of the whole hotel was generally positive. We would have stayed here again had... More

Had the unfortunate experience of staying here in January 2014. Hallway stank of urine, bed was saggy, TV didn't work, the staff very odd and unhelpful and it was terribly noisy as the bus station is right on the doorstep. I could go on. Stay at the excellent YHA on Botley Road (as I did on my second trip to... More

We booked a ‘family room’ for three in this… place. The family room is situated right over the bar. On a good night you can ‘enjoy' the Karaoke until midnight. Some of the contestants can sing. On a bad night it is just mindless thumping music keeping the kids and parents awake. But for their age, the staff of this... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. This hotel served 'Free Wi-Fi'. But, I could never make internet access using Wi-Fi. Although I claimed twice, the situation was not improved. If you need internet access, don't choose this hotel. On the other hand, English breakfast was good.

A last minute booking at the Eurobar while in Oxford at a wedding saw us turn up to a bar where we were brought under the counter and up to our room - as we passed the toilet on the hall alarm bells started to ring that we may not have been provided with our own room facilities and this... More

It is the 4th time I stay in this hotel and the new owner and management is an improvement. I am sure there will be more improvements than new televisions in the rooms.- Downstairs is the bar, and the cafe is serving a good English breakfast. The ladies room could do with a facelift. - But still you do`nt find... More

The staff were friendly at least initially, I arrived late and they showed me to a room. The room was pretty basic, not worth the 85 quid i was charged for it, but it was clean and had everything I needed. The noise from the bus station outside was pretty bad, but not a massive problem. My main complaint was... More
