We stayed here for one night and found it to be very clean and comfortable and warm. The owner was very friendly and helpful we can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it. It is on a busy road but has a good bus service and close to the hospital which was the reason for our visit. Would... More

I had a very quiet and comfortable stay here and was impressed by thoughtful details: newspapers in the conservatory, tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom products in the bathrooms. The linen was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good. This B&B has its own car park and is right by a bus stop with regular buses going into Oxford... More

Good value B and B with car parking situated about 20 mins walk from St Aldates. Really good bus service into town. Rooms are very clean, warm, bed comfortable and good to have breakfast included. Furniture and decor are a bit tired - but you get what you pay for and for the price it is good value.

This is the second time I stayed at this guest house...and both times I was very happy with it.. It is family run and the owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are ok, clean and have whatever you need. There is à carpark if you have a car. Breakfast was good. It is situated about 20 mins walk... More

This B&B is very good - hence the four stars. It's spotlessly clean and the only unpleasant smell we noticed was from the fish & chips another guest brought in. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished (though personally I prefer a firmer mattress). The owners are friendly, welcoming and accommodating - we appreciated their willingness to allow us to leave... More

The rooms are spacious, and clean. The furnitures and interior design are a bit old fashioned (two chairs were falling apart). Breakfast is Ok, but the time window is very short (8:30 to 9:30). It is located a bit outside the city, but the bus stop is very close. Overall, I find the rooms a bit overpriced, although Oxford is... More

Good points: Owners were friendly, sheets and pillows were spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable, breakfast was fine and served promptly, given own key for front door, room to park off street. Bad points: Dusting was done only on obvious surfaces but not in other areas, bathroom had black mould and mildew on some areas of tiles and in corners,... More

Based on the previous reviews it sounded like we could have some issues staying here - but nothing could be further from the truth. A wonderful room (a twin room, number 7) plenty of space, good facilities, nice hosts and great breakfast. We would recommend it to others as good value. We found the bus service into town arrived every... More

Very disapointed and thoroughly shocked. Booked a room, travelled down M6, M42 and M40 long delays arrived at 11pm. Completely shut, tried to phone - no answer. Had to find a hotel room from midnight til 1am. Called this morning to explain due to unforeseen circumstances we were delayed Mrs Bhella a rude and abrupt woman "read the small print... More

Stayed only 1 night, but the twin bedded en-suite room was comfortable, although rather dated decor & furniture, beds comfortable, owners friendly enough, the breakfast was nice with a cooked breakfast and choice of cerials and fruit juice, toast etc. There was a nice conservatory and garden for nice evenings in the summer. A good 20/25 minutes walk into the... More
