We arrived straight from our long journey from the US and the owner of the B&B was very willing to let us into our rooms a bit early for a quick rest -- very accommodating! Overall we were very pleased with our stay... We had two rooms, including a single in front for our adult son (who loved his own... More

For the price we paid, the room was much as we had expected. The cleaning could be improved: it appeared clean and we had everything we needed, but on looking for an electrical socket for the alarm clock behind the bedside table, we found a lot of dust on the skirting board (there was no socket in which to plug... We stayed just the one night and our host was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was large enough to cope with two large suitcases and clean and nicely presented. The house itself is old and therefore has the disadvantages of such buildings with steep stairs and older facilities but what they lack in glamour is made up in being... More

Warm welcome on our arrival. Room very clean and tidy. More than adequate for our needs. Food was good. Location within walking distance of city centre and also just off ring road. Would stay again. Would also recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Oxford.

We stayed two nights last week. The room was adequate albeit a bit small. If you are at the front the noise from the traffic outside might annoy the light sleepers if the window was open. The owners were very freindly and breakfast was really nice and served very quickly with a choice of pretty much all you would have... More

We stayed here for one night and found it to be very clean and comfortable and warm. The owner was very friendly and helpful we can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it. It is on a busy road but has a good bus service and close to the hospital which was the reason for our visit. Would... More

I had a very quiet and comfortable stay here and was impressed by thoughtful details: newspapers in the conservatory, tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom products in the bathrooms. The linen was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good. This B&B has its own car park and is right by a bus stop with regular buses going into Oxford... More

Good value B and B with car parking situated about 20 mins walk from St Aldates. Really good bus service into town. Rooms are very clean, warm, bed comfortable and good to have breakfast included. Furniture and decor are a bit tired - but you get what you pay for and for the price it is good value.

This is the second time I stayed at this guest house...and both times I was very happy with it.. It is family run and the owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are ok, clean and have whatever you need. There is à carpark if you have a car. Breakfast was good. It is situated about 20 mins walk... More

This B&B is very good - hence the four stars. It's spotlessly clean and the only unpleasant smell we noticed was from the fish & chips another guest brought in. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished (though personally I prefer a firmer mattress). The owners are friendly, welcoming and accommodating - we appreciated their willingness to allow us to leave... More
