Staying here was an enjoyable experience. Very impressed with the standard of service provided by the staff. The room was very comfortable with good facilities including a TV, minibar, and kitchinette - the fridge was stocked with milk, juice, yogurt, and other little extras. Breakfast is delivered to the room in the morning which is a nice touch. The house is... More

Due to the format of the site, I have to write another review to comment on the answer provided by this unrecommendable hotel. My reason for this response is that we feel very offended by the rude and indifferent attitude shown through the response from the hotel. If you consider to spend a load of money on this hotel you... This friendly bed and breakfast/hotel provided us with an unusual room in a quiet side street, which benefited from its own front door on to the street. This allowed us a high degree of privacy and independence that we enjoyed, with only the daily room service breakfast reminding us that we were actually in a hotel. The spacious room included... A friendly and efficient place, Marlborough House Hotel is in well positioned on the Woodstock Road, e.g. for St Edwards School, with parking at the front and on the street at the side. Our room (in the annex) was cosy and quiet. The hotel has fifteen rooms which are well fitted-out, with TV, free Wi-Fi (very welcome), and lots of... More

We stayed in a family room for 4. The room was very spacious, with a double bed and 2 single beds. Room was clean, and well kept. Kitchenette was well stocked, with milk, juice, yogurt, coffee & teas etc. All in all, the room made a very comfortable stay. Our room was at the top floor, and that required some... More

I have just stayed for one night at the Marlbourough House Hotel while in Oxford for a charity event. It was a perfect stay. I found the hotel with ease following the directions on their website. I was warmly welcomed and checked in and taken to my room by a member of staff. The room was beautifully decorated with a... More

There was plenty of choices for breakfast and the rooms were very warm, homely and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly which certainly contributed to making our Anniversary rememberable. More

The hotel is perfectly placed for a break in Oxford with easy access to buses and is near the Cotswolds too.Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and perfect for us in that I have several allergies and the kitchenette with a fridge was ideal for keeping my soya milk and vegetable margarine fresh. It was also good to have... More

Fantastic room - with free cereal snacks, orange juice, tea and coffee on arrival much appreciated. Nice distance from City Centre - you can walk it (it takes 20 minutes or so). Very helpful at reception. Breakfast home-made "full English" was excellent - none of your motorway service station-type grub. Beds comfortable, nice and quiet for a good night's kip. More
