The room was lovely and bed really comfortable. Despite being on a main road, our room was very quiet. The breakfasts were excellent and a choice of how you wanted your egg cooked and I don't mean just a boiled egg! Lovely home made bread too. Near Summetown for nice shops and cafes and on good bus route into city... More

I stayed here with my elderly mom for just one night and it couldn't have been better. The room was lovely and very clean, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast very good. We managed to park but we could only see 4 spaces so I am not sure where else we could have parked. The bus stop was... More

Cannot recommend highly enough. The manager, Nes, combines effortless efficiency with great charm. Our room was spotless and towels and bedlinen were of good quality. Triple-glazed windows kept road-noise to a minimum. I feel somewhat churlish in heading my review virtually faultless based on the common failing of providing an excellent full English breakfast let down only by the provision... More

We spent the weekend recently, and really enjoyed our stay. Nes was very attentive and helpful; welcoming us with a glass of juice, and nothing was too much trouble. There is free Wi-Fi and nice quality toiletries in the bathroom. Our room was on the front (Banbury Road), but the windows are triple glazed, so there was very little noise... More

My wife and I just enjoyed a great stay at the Burlington. The hotel manager is very organised, efficient and makes you feel looked after. The real positives were a. the location; Summertown is a lovely place, very affluent and a nice high street with restaurants, shops and coffee places, b. the breakfast was lovely, nice fresh orange juice and... We stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in Oxford. The hotel is a little way out of town in Summerstown, but it's only a short stroll to plenty of shops and restaurants, and ashore bus ride into the town centre (buses seemed to be very frequent). It's a very stylish hotel, each room is done... More

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely weekend at the Burlington House Hotel, and I can honsetly say one of the best B&B's we have stayed at! From the moment Ness opened the door we were welcomed and that carried through the whole weekend! Even down to bumping into him at the restaurant and having a great... More

Our stay in Burlington House was most enjoyable. We were greeted on arrival with fresh orange juice and made to feel very welcome. Our double room en suite was pleasant, spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade bread and jams, and eggs etc cooked to perfection. The bus stops for getting to and... More

We booked this accommodation on reviews from Tripadvisor. The welcome was friendly and nice. Were given fresh Orange Juice on arrival and told about the property, given directions to good local restaurants and told how to get into city centre on bus etc, to far to walk. Twin room was nice, good linen and everything one could want in a... More
