My husband and I and our 19 year old daughter stayed here last week for one night whilst my daughter was visiting a mate who is at Oxford. First time in the city for everyone and the place is just gorgeous. But this review is about the place we stayed in - we had two separate rooms, both scrupulously clean... More

Spent 1 night at Burlington House last weekend with my daughter and son. My son was taking part in a Computer Science Challenge event at Oxford University on the Sunday starting quite early so wanted to drive down the night before so we had a chance to look round Oxford. I chose this B & B after doing quite a... More

Without doubt, Burlington House Hotel stands out as one of the better places for discerning bed and breakfast customers who wish to avoid a soul-less hotel. The exterior wins favour easily against several other 'doubtful' establishments along the road; the interior on entry says class and comfort. However, on closer rapport, and without forcing ones hand to find fault, niggles... More

This attractive, well designed bed and breakfast has everything a visitor to Oxford needs. It's in a great location on the north side of town with parking for anyone driving to Oxford who wants to bus into the city to sightsee. Friendly efficient staff, delicious home made beautifully served breakfast and comfortable rooms. Always busy so you need to book... More

Note: I'm still staying at the hotel and so have to live this review! It is rare that you meet someone who cares about their business - the owner here attends to the details and is brilliant and communicating with customers. Firstly, bed comfortable - yes, room clean - yes, quiet - yes (and I'm facing the main road). Simply... More

Excellent host and cosy room. Easy access to the city centre too. Only thing I would add is don't park under the tree. Visit to a car wash and an hour back at home with hot soapy water finally did the job

We stayed in one of the small double rooms, which was in an annex building off the yard. The room was very comfortable, and whilst small, didn't feel claustrophobic. The wet room was beautifully decorated with a very good shower. The bed was comfy and the room was warm and clean. The style is contemporary, which makes a nice change... More

Stayed here a few times over this year for business and always spot on. Great rooms with Nes a gratious and good host. Breakfast was great too with home made bread and perfect poached eggs. Only problem being its always popular so i cant always get a room at last minute so book early!

Firstly Nes is a superb host. He is clear, concise and full of very useful advice, he could not have done more for us. Top marks. Second, location is pretty near perfect. The house is on the main drag into Oxford City, with very reasonably priced buses running literally every couple of minutes and only taking a few minutes more... More

Is it a B&B or a Micro Hotel? To us a B&B lacks a little something but this place will exceed your expectations and deliver a level of professionalism you won't get at your average B&B. The location is perfect for easy access to the city via the bus and no noise from this easy access gets through the double... More
