Booked a saturday night with inclusive evening meal and breakfast as we wanted a weekend break to explore the city. The hotel is very conveniently placed, either for a 5 minute bus ride or a 20 minute pleasant walk along the Thames. The hotel exceeded our expectations, large clean rooms, helpful staff, excellent evening meal and great choice for breakfast. We... More

We have just got back from a lovely weekend stay here. The room was clean and decorated well. The complimentary mini bar had a good range of drinks and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The beds were so comfy! And the balcony looked onto a tranquil field. Breakfast was expensive but definitely worth the money!... More

Me and my partner stayed here for one night in a room in Eastwyck House. We had an enormous room which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Oh and very warm! We used the swimming pool and sauna, which was included in the price, and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good, a... More

I stayed at the Oxford Spires Four Pillars between 4 and 6 January 2015 and stayed in a double room in the main building. The room was spotlessly clean, as were all public areas. I enjoyed an excellent, full English buffet breakfast each morning and ate in the restaurant on two evenings and in the bar on one evening, all... More

The staff at the Four Pillars in Oxford is very friendly and quite helpful with maps and directions. Breakfast is included, and is fine, with lots of options, if somewhat uninspired. The location is pretty good for visiting Oxford -- a very pleasant and scenic 15 minute walk into the city center. If you don't want to walk, cross the... More

We stayed here for one night during a short visit to Oxford. The hotel seems to be a little "sprawling", but this didn't really bother us. Our room was fairly basic but clean and perfectly comfortable. We looked over the fields towards the river, so the room was also very quiet. The lounge/bar area was nice with very tentative staff.... I stayed at this hotel in November 2014 for 1 night on a pre christmas shopping break. We booked a twin room through Superbreak and found upon arrival we were given a beautiful, huge room (221 I think??) Which was almost tucked upstairs on the 3rd floor annexe with the biggest, most modern bathroom I have ever come across in... More

Well located hotel approximately 20 minute walk from the centre of Oxford. We had an upgraded balcony room which was spacious with a 4-poster bed, balcony (with table & chairs) and a flat screen TV; good size bathroom; in-room safe (although not large enough for a laptop). There was a complimentary mini-bar (very lightly stocked) and tea & coffee making facilities.... More

Stay at the Oxford Spires on 9th January with my brother and sister and partners. From check in to check out the multinational staff were efficient, friendly and service always with a smile. The bedroom was warm and inviting the bathroom was sparkling clean and fully stocked. A kettle with a supply of tea and coffee was the finishing touch.... More

We were bought this as a present from my parents and we had a lovely stay for one night. We used the pool, relaxing steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. It was gorgeous. Oxford City centre is a short 15 minute walk away from the hotel and is in a beautiful location. The food is good and the rooms are spacious and... More
