I have just stayed at this Hotel with my partner and another couple and we all had a great time. The staff were polite, helpful & knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble for them The food was second to none, well done chef. It was a beautiful building in gorgeous surrounds. The room was spacious and I have to say... More

Stayed for a week during a business trip in Oxford. Location is good; short walk to town centre. Rooms clean and comfortable bed. Real problem with the waiting staff in the lounge (breakfast staff were fine). I arrived on a Sunday and, finding a Christmas party on the go in the restaurant, I decided to eat in the almost empty... More

We arrived without a booking and the reception staff were very helpful and advised us of all the different rooms and prices available. We booked 2 rooms for us and our friends and reserved there and then. The rooms were spacious and lovely and clean. Good facilities in the hotel with very friendly staff. We paid an additional £10 on... More

Our five-night stay at this hotel was excellent; very pleasant. The room was quiet with plenty of space and a very nice bathroom. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but the head housekeeper found a solution so we definitely slept well! The breakfast is outstanding. Generally, the food offered for lunch in the bar/lounge is very good quality and served... More

Bathroom very clean and well laid out, all modern sanitary ware, water pressure good. Beds comfy with good mattresses. Reception very fast, polite and attentive. Fresh fruit available at check... The location is ideal for visiting all the nearby places of interest - it's only a 10 minute brisk walk into the city centre or a more gentle walk along the riverside path. The most noticeable thing about the hotel is the friendliness of the staff and all go out of their way to be of help - how very... More

The rooms are a little tired but spacious, the hotel has a good foyer ambiance, the WiFi is temperamental. I also thought that the Hotels restaurant opening in the evenings at 7pm is a little late especially for a tired traveler, this in contrast to the bar opening at 8am!

Stopped here for one night on a business trip with some colleges. Good ...excellent location set in decent surroundings and easy to find ..if you can beat your way through Oxford traffic. Ample parking , decent sized pool, staff very attentive and customer service right up there with the best. Average....food....rooms some out dated beyond the new reception area...ground floor... Visited this nice hotel for a work course recently. Conference room was good but wifi not great and needs to be improved. Lunch was very good and staff very attentive and pleasant. Decent location close to motorway and A roads and close to city centre.
