I stayed here for 2 nights while I explored Oxford. The room was a basic college dorm room with a bed, bedside table with good reading lamp, desk, and closet. Toilets and showers/bathtubs were located just down the hall. The bed was comfortable and the room was checked daily by staff who replenished the in-room amenities (tea/coffee, cookies, bottled water).... More

Three of us spent three nights here in June 2014. We arrived early and left our luggage at the check-in. We took a taxi from the train station, but walked to the town center and Jericho during the rest of our stay and found it a pleasant and easy walk, about 20 min. The rooms were basic, but clean and... More

I stayed here for one night while attending an event at Lady Margaret Hall. It is student accommodation built in the 1980s. I paid 70 for a room with ensuite. The ensuite was covered in mould -disgusting. The room was really noisy with other guests rolling in late and being loud. Parking is right round the block from where you... More

My two friends and I stayed at St. Hugh's for three nights. The rooms were not luxurious but we knew going in that they were basic dorm rooms. They were very clean and included a hot water pot for making coffee/tea, and also a couple of biscuits (cookies). The breakfast in the dining hall was excellent and substantial. The grounds... More

These are really basic rooms. They are clean enough. Breakfast is the same every day. My main complaint is that the bed provided no back support and was sunken in the middle. After an extremely uncomfortable first night, I asked for extra pillows to keep me comfortable which I got for the second and third nights, but for some inexplicable... More

thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Oxford, thanks to St.Hugh's having somewhere to park my car. Found the walk into town not too arduous and as an Old Waynflete (MCS) enjoyed finding my way from 40 year old memories. Bed very comfortable, and lack of ensuite not a problem, as showers etc right opposite the room (26). Breakfast was good with... More

I stayed here the first two nights of a week-long research trip. The single negative point is that it is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but it's by no means horrible. (It took me about 15 minutes to walk in to the humanities bldg on Woodstock, and 20-25 to get into town, depending on whether I... More

Stayed at St. Hugh's on Monday and Tuesday 20 and 21 May. Check-in at the Lodge at 8:30 PM was efficient and easy. I was shown to our room - 63 in the main building which was clean and neatly furnished. The shared bathroom facilities were plentiful and immaculately clean. I changed rooms for the next night to room 62... More
