We have had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Holywell B&B in Oxford. It is one of very few B&Bs right in the centre of Oxford which also offers limited free car parking. Just a moments walk from the main Oxford attractions the owners Stuart and Carrie are excellent friendly hosts and the breakfasts set you up for the day. A... More

This was our second occasion staying in this delightful small B&B close to both Mansfield & New College. As previously, we stayed in the New College Room. Improvements last Autumn have converted this into an en suite bedroom, and the room has been tastefully refurbished. You can opt for continental or full English breakfasts, and the owners (Carrie & Stuart Holloway)... More

We have stayed here twice now, and rate it our very favourite place to stay in Oxford. We stayed in the New College Room, which looked straight out at the old buildings of New College just across the street. This spacious room is charmingly put together, with a very comfortable bed and a really nice en-suite, the breakfast is generous... More

We wanted a homely b & b to stay in Oxford central for a few days and found The Holywell B & B. Perfect central location, even offered us private parking which is at a premium. Carrie showed us to our room on the first floor which was en-suite. Spotlessly clean with lots of interesting memorabilia around the room. Comfy... More

We spent a lovely weekend in Oxford at the beginning of February staying at The Holywell on the Saturday night. This B&B was a real find. The location is perfect as is the parking. Stuart and Carrie were very accommodating, allowing us to park up before our lunch date in Oxford. The Merton Room is delightful - quiet and comfortable... More

What a find! We stayed here as we were going to a gig at the O2 Academy and it was great. The free gated parking really helped as its a nigtmare to park anywhere in Oxford. Our room was spacious with lots of homely touches but all the things you need. Good free wifi too. My boyfriend was particularly impressed... More

Hollywell B&B, Oxford Like London, Oxford is an expensive place to stay but this B&B in Holywell Street struck the balance for us of being a short walk from town (and the colleges) and being on the edge of what we could afford. Despite being just a few blocks from the centre of town, it is in a quiet location.... More

A real "Home from home" in the centre of Oxford. Leave the car and go "walkabout". We enjoyed the whole experience and were made to feel like special guests by Stuart and Carrie. Our room was superb looking over New College. We took advantage of the "reduced cost" guided tour of the colleges by Stuart and it was FANTASTIC -... More

We stayed here a year or so ago and enjoyed it so much that we came back this month and arranged for our son and his wife to stay, too. We had another very enjoyable stay. If you like quaint and very ancient buildings, this is a must for you. OK, you have to put up with narrow staircases and... More
