Beautifully appointed historic B&B in the heart of Oxford. At Holywell B&B you'll find hosts willing to help you make the best of your time in Oxford no matter how short, and you'll leave wanting to return to this exceptionally clean and beautiful place.

My husband and I only spent one night at Holywell B&B but had a wonderful stay. We only regret it wasn't longer. Our room was beautifully decorated with lots of homey touches. Breakfast the next morning was cooked to our desires. Carrie & Stuart were kind and thoughtful hosts. We even had the opportunity to view the garden and meet... More

I stayed at Holywell B&B for 3 nights during my recent 3 week trip through England. This B&B does everything that I feel other B&B's should strive for: friendly owners with a great deal of knowledge about the area and attractions to visit, delicious breakfast, very clean and comfortable accommodations. Now here are the reasons that Holywell is particularly special:... More

This is one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. It is truly perfect and the owners have been clever in achieving what they are aiming for. Very comfortable room, delicious breakfast, brilliant shower, lovely charming owners. We stayed after a wedding in Oxford and it simply could not have been better. Thank you Carrie.

I stayed here for the second time, knowing that Holywell B&B has the best location and the most friendly owners. The rooms are charming and the breakfast is excellent. You can walk to the Bodleian, the High Street, and Cornmarket in minutes. Go the other way for a quiet visit to the Holywell Cemetery (Charles Williams the Inkling is buried... More

I didn't realize when I booked, but this place is right in the middle of things in central Oxford. New College is right across the street and the Ashmolean is around the corner. The hosts are very cordial and helpful and the room was cute as could be. The bath was right outside our door but, since we were the... More

Centrally located right in the Heart of Oxford in 1540 building, warm and welcoming atmosphere, charming rooms, excellent breakfast. Carrie and Stuart both very kind and helpful. We also enjoyed Stuart's guided walking tour in the colleges and chapels in Oxford.

This B@B was perfectly located near the Ashmolean Museum, the Bodlian Library, and several colleges we wished to visit on foot. Our room was comfortable, quiet, pleasantly furnished, and more than adequate. Our English Breakfast was excellent. The owners are very nice, friendly, and quite helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.

The Holywell B&B is a great small (only 2 rooms) place to stay in Oxford. It is very centrally located- just 3 mins from the Sheldonian theatre and Broad street. The rooms are comfortable, clean with good facilities and the parking is a real bonus as parking in the centre is at a premium. The breakfast was of good quality... More

We stayed 3 nights in this city centre B&B with secure off street parking, which is rare in Oxford, the location could not have been any better. Carrie and Stuart gave us a friendly warm welcome and were a delight throughout our stay. Our room was of a very high standard, mirrored in other communal parts of the house, with... More
