Handy for the railway station and for the city centre and easy to reach from the ring road. Some parts a bit tired but excellent overall and the breakfast was splendid
The hotel was quiet in spite of being on the main road, clean and tidy with all the basics needed, parking to the rear, buses passing the door, ideal for visiting Oxford City.
An affordable option in a fine location for anyone who likes ready access to transport and doesn't might a few minutes' stroll into the center. The accommodations are basic and what you'd expect for the price. The staff is warm and helpful, and the full breakfast generous.

The decor is certainly dated and the place is rather frayed around the edges, but that's not important.
Everything was kept clean and tidy. Staff were attentive and helpful. The small scale and family ownership made the place feel decidedly cosy. The complimentary breakfast consisted of both a decent continental buffet and table-served Full English, which was very tasty.

We stayed for 4 nights in a double room without breakfast. The hotel is located near the train station and just about 10-15 min walk to the city center. The prize for one night was a little cheaper than the other hotels in Oxford. The room was functional, warm and quiet, but nothing special. The bathroom was clean and the...
