We stayed for one night as part of a cycling tour. Parklands is a well cared for lovely old house. We found the staff pleasant and while we couldn't check in early they stored our bags while we walked into the town centre. The walk took about 15 minutes through a very picturesque part of town. Our room on the... More

This was our 2nd visit to Parklands. We returned because we were impressed with this hotel when we stayed in March. Our room was small, but adequate for 1 night. The breakfast was very good, the staff & owners friendly & helpful. We appreciated the hotel allowing us to leave our car before our room was ready & for a... More

We chose the Parklands as it is near where our daughter lives, but it would be ideal for anyone wanting easy access to the city. We stayed 2 nights in a superior room on the top floor, facing the side street. Although the weather was quite warm, the room was cool with the window open (a fan was provided but... More

Lovely looking building with buses to the town centre just a stroll away. Nice staff and very helpful. Breakfast was fairly basic but certainly adequate. Our room was very, very small and stuffy, and with the fire escape and roof outside our window, for our own safety during the night we couldn't even leave the window open for some cool... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as we had an experience day booked nearby in Stadhampton. We stayed in a superior double room facing the street. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and as were the facilities. Breakfast was delicious! I had eggs Benedict both days and didn't regret it! The room provided plenty of information... More

We stayed two nights in the Parklands which should really be classified as a boutique hotel. We had room 20 which was magnificent. The room was spacious, ensuite modern, roomy and luxurious. Water pressure was the best we had come across with no variation in temperature. Ample car parking and breakfast was excellent. Wifi was fast and met all our... More

Parklands is a well run quality B&B. We had room 22, which is on the first floor and overlooks the rear garden so there was no traffic noise at all, although there was some background noise from below as they prepared for breakfast. The room was good size with a very large slay bed with three pillows each and lots... More

Stayed for 2 nights in a Superior Double room. Great location for Oxford centre - there is a bus stop right outside (buses every 5-6 mins) you can stroll to town in 20-25mins. Very comfortable rooms & bed, and fabulous breakfasts. Highly recommended.

Stayed 2 nights and had superior double room which was lovely. The B&B is very clean and staff are so polite. Beds are very comfortable and breakfast is to die for. great location with 20 minute walk in to city or 5 minutes on the bus which stops practically outside. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

We returned to this B&B 16-19 June 2015 after first visiting last August. Excellent B&B, clean, extremely comfortable, good amenities, free wifi, good food and brilliant customer service. We stayed in a superior room. Parking facilities on site with a 15 minute walk into Oxford city centre. Would highly recommend and we will surely stay there again if we are... More
