It's my second trip to Oxford, and like the previous time I chose to also stay at Parklands. The value of the hotel is unbeatable, location is a 5 minutes walk to Summertown, 20 minutes to city centre, and situated on a quiet street. Cooked breakfast is hearty and variety adequate. Rooms were very clean, only qualm I had was... More

We stayed here last night, we booked the super king room which had a lovely oak sleigh bed. The room was small but nicely decorated. The room was quiet as it faced onto the garden at the side. The bathroom was modern, but every small and with nowhere to unpack our toiletries. The breakfast this morning was lovely. Its a... More

You get what you pay for in this world and we think our vist to Oxford was enhanced by our choice of this b and b. Very happy with the room and the ensuite shower room, both of which were immaculate. Only slight quibble is the staff seemed remote and didn't really engage with us. Would stay again if visiting... More

Great bed. Great bathroom. Good breakfasts. Staff helpful. Safe car parking and reliable wifi. What more can you ask for. This is the second time we have stayed. Very close to Oxford City centre, good transport links and close to the Hop on and Off bus stop.

We stayed here for two nights in July. Lovely room with lots of windows looking out onto the side road and the back garden. The bathroom was very modern and luxurious. Breakfast was very good with a good selection and helpful staff. If we were to go back to Oxford, we would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights having booked a Classic Double room. We chose this property in the north of Oxford because of its proximity to the centre (about 20 mins walk), the free on-site parking and the reviews. We were nor disappointed! Although our room was rather "compact and bijou" it was spotlessly clean, as was... More

We enjoyed our stay. We had a room with a king sized bed and another with a twin. Both were fairly small. There was no traffic noise as we were on the garden side. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. The staff were helpful. We felt it was over priced for what you get.

Although this was the tiniest room I stayed in during a month-long solo trip to the British Isles, sometimes good things come in small packages. I found the room bright and cozy, and the en suite was actually rather spacious. I loved the tasteful decor of the house and the location worked well for me. I took a taxi there... More

Parklands hotel is in a perfect position for a few days in lovely Oxford the bus into the town is outside the hotel and the tour bus stops just down the road (highly recommended) The room was i bit on the small side but the on-suite was superb The service was good with nothing to much trouble the breakfast was... Nice B&B, very clean with good facilities. The room was supposed to be a superior double but it was very small & subject to lots of traffic noise if you want window open as it overlooked busy main road. Great reception on arrival. Sadly the thing which let this B&B down was the somewhat sloppy approach to guests by certain... More
