We spent two nights at the Falcon. It's an easy bus ride from the trail station. Location is an easy walk, but away from the noise & night life of downtown Oxford. Rooms were adequate in size, manager friendly & helpful. Breakfast was typical English. Quiet rooms.

This was my first stay at a B&B and I was cautious at first, especially about the cleanliness part. The Falcon was a pleasant surprise. It's actually one of the cleanest places I've stayed and certainly the cleanest I've stayed in the UK. The place seemed either just refurbished or very we'll looked after. Everything was spotless. Very comfortable and... More

I have had difficulty finding accommodation of this price, location and standard in Oxford, which increases my satisfaction with the Falcon. This is my second stay. It is not central, but only takes 20 min. to walk into town. Other conveniences (for the not-just-the-weekend traveller) are the launderette a few shops up and the little grocery store and coffee shop.... More

Stayed with my husband and friends in July 2014. The room with the four poster bed does not have a wardrobe and one of our rooms was on the top floor and the bed was almost on the floor with low ceilings. On arrival the toilet was not clean, however when I asked if it could be cleaned, the staff... More

Convenient location. My room was good sized and reasonably clean (although, as I'm alergic to dust, I could smell it and gave me a sore throat). Breakfast is ok but quite standard and with no fresh fruit (a couple of apples and bananas would not be too difficult to arrange, one may think).

Good location (there is a bus stop right outside so you can reach the city centre in a few minutes), very clean, good breakfast. All you need really! Taxi to Gloucester Green coach station only cost 5 pounds. Good value for money if we take into account the fact that hotels in oxford tend to be very expensive.

We spent four nights here. The first three were in a rear sited room. Clean tidy and quieter than a front room. Breakfast was plated and waitress service and was good. Cooked freshly . The fourth night we had to swap to another room with a four poster bed, This room cost us more but it was without a wardrobe... More

If your looking for a B & B that is.... comfortable, clean, reasonable price, great location to City, tasty breakfast, and very friendly staff, plus ample free parking....The Falcon is definitely the place to be. If I return to Oxford I will try to book in here again.

My friend and I stayed at The Falcon for two nights 31st May -1st June. Our room was No 9 and was clean and comfortable, there was hot chocolate and coffee and tea to make in our room which is good to be able to have at the start or end of the day. The breakfast was cooked to order... More

This is a little gem. Situated near to all Oxfords amenities. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and given lots of useful information. The room was large and spotless. Food plentiful and varied. Well worth a visit
