We stayed in 2 family rooms for my Hen Weekend in Oxford. We were at the top of the B&B which wasn't a problem at all. The rooms were spotlessly clean, airy and the bathroom was very good. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Shower gel, shampoo and soap were provided. The towels were a good side... more

I have stayed here before, and my how things have changed. I was given a tiny room facing the road, with the radiator right behind the bed where my head was, and poor windows which suffered traffic noise. The bed was not too comfortable and the room had a tiny TV that must be from the 1970's, but so high... more

The Falcon Oxford An old, but comfortable hotel but not 3 star. Our room (family size for three ladies aged between 42 & 64) was on the top floor & there was no lift to assist with our bags. The beds were comfortable & there was plenty of hot water for the shower. Breakfast was included & cooked to order.... more

Searching in the trip advisor for a last minute deal of an oxford hotel i found Falcon Private Hotel... It seemed the best possible choice we had for a last minute booking for our Christmas break. So we contacted by email the hotel and next day we had a reply and confirmation of our booking. Just one week before Xmas... more

This hotel is probably ok, but our room on the top floor was marred by the pitched ceiling which meant that an adult can only stand upright in less than half the room. As another reviewer has remarked, you can hardly sit at the desk or exit the bed on the one side. This also means you can't see out... more

What a find! Clean, convenient, relaxed and a short walk from the city and colleges. We were even able to leave our car in the hotel carpark for a couple of hours after we had checked out. Good cooked breakfast. Only the breakfast mushrooms prevented this being an 'Excellent'. Would stay there again. more

we travelled from Shropshire for a 'ladies' week-end away. Travelled by train so parking no problem. Only 10minutes walk to beautiful city centre. Rooms were spotless as was the bathrooms. Beds were lovely & comfy. No moans about the breakfast either - plenty of choice & whooping big teapots. We were up in the very top of the building but... more

Stayed here for just 2 nights and on the whole it was pleasant. The room was slightly tired though, with bathroom fixings that kept falling off the walls but everything was clean, towels, bedding etc Breakfast wasn't brilliant but more or less edible (toast was very good !) friendly breakfast staff helped the atmosphere.... along with a big pot of... more

Wasn't expecting much from this hotel - we were staying in Oxford for a wedding and just wanted a bed for the night somewhere not too far away. Falcon seemed like a good option. It really wasn't. The bed was appalling. So soft and squidgy that both my wife and I had a dreadful night's sleep and woke up at... more
