We enjoyed our stay here, and also found a delightful pub nearby for lunch. We had put the postcode into our satnav, but drove right past it - it's location was not immediately obvious when we arrived "at our destination".

Took advantage of a promotional offer. Pool closed, no massage appointment available. Breakfast bacon resembled plastic rashers. Won't be returning. Rib eye steak which sounded mouth watering was a lump of meat,no rib eye and chips well even I can do better. Bed uncomfortable. Sorry but you asked and I believe in the truth.

Our reserved room was upgraded to a fabulous 2-room suite with fireplace, 1 & 1/2 baths, beautiful furnishings. We were thrilled! It is very conveniently located to some of the colleges, many restaurants, and the train station. Everything was just perfect, however we did not eat breakfast at the hotel since we just wanted something light and thought the hotel... More

I have just spent 2 nights at this hotel, and although the hotel facilities are good, what a let down the room was. My room was so far from reception where all the facilites were, I needed a sat-nav. I went to ask for ice from the bar, and by the time I got back to the room, it had... More

My wife and I wanted a two day break to explore Oxford and Blenheim Palace and secured a good deal at The Oxford Hotel through the internet. The hotel is smart and modern and obviously a business/leisure hotel. Try and get a room as close to reception if you can as some of the rooms are a bit of a... More

Ideal location on the out- skirts of Oxford centre, and easy to get to. Nice and clean, cool in the summer heat, good choice of breakfast, reasonable priced rooms, comfortable, and clean. I would recommend here for a stay.

I took my OH on a weekend break here for his birthday. Overall impressions, 4* Reception, bar area and restaurant, 3* bedrooms. The bedrooms in the hotel could do with modernising / freshening up. The bed was extremely small ( 2 * average sized adults ) and we thought that if the hotel offered a small amount of rooms and... More

We enjoyed our stay so much, we went back a second time. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and spacious (although we did have a Q star room both times, worth spending that little bit extra for). Only down side is that depending on your location, you dont always get your newspaper in the morning (other guests swipe them i... More

I stayed last weekend as part of a break organized by a holiday company. The company are good and well organized. Problems started when we arrived at the hotel.Firstly the company rep. was given the wrong list of rooms and keys twice before we got the correct keys, my friend and I had requested a twin room, our room was... Very nice hotel if you are driving as it is a bit outside of town. Decent room. Though lived near the staircase which means early morning you will hear people dragging down their luggage. Tried their indoor pool which was nice as well.
