This place represents good value for money, especially when you consider its location and competitors. It was two minutes away from the venue we visited which was great, and it had parking albeit on a building site. It's a bizarre place, a bit faulty towers, but with friendly enough staff. They offered us a newer room after my other half... More

Very friendly staff, rooms clean. They obviously need to work on a few aspects of the houses such as the parking area and front entranceway but the rooms are a good size and clean, and they staff were very helpful and friendly. Fine for an overnight stay if you are on a budget.

After reading the reviews we were expecting the worse, but we were pleasantly surprised on arrival. A very helpful Cristian from the reception took our luggage up two floors and assisted us in whatever problem we had (nothing serious, just an additional chair and a fan as the weather was quite warm). The room and the bathroom were recently renovated... More

There's been a lot of negatives written about this place, and it became even more notorious when it was found to have been used by a child prostitution gang, so anyone thinking of staying here is going to have pause for thought. But it is cheap, and it is close to the town centre, and the reputation has improved, so... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at this Guest House. I received a warm welcome and all staff were friendly and polite. The bed and en suite bathroom was clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea making facilities in the room. I slept well. The breakfast was very tasty and well presented. A wide range of food and plenty of it.... More

Hotel is still being renovated so difficult to review properly. However with hotel rooms so expensive in Oxford we took a punt on this one. It was no better or no worse than expected and for the price we paid we were satisfied that we had value for money.

Hello. To be honest, the hotel is quite well, but there are some bad features. Firstly, the breakfast is bad, the bacon doughty and over fried, the rooms are bad furnished , but actually service is quite polite, so when we asked to change the room, it was changed fast. But there're some good features, acceptable prices, good cleaning.

The Nanford Guest House is a clean and well located place to stay in Oxford. For me though, what impressed me the most was the customer service which I notice has come in for some criticism in the past. I booked through a third party website and had some major problems with the booking. The reservation manager at Nanford was... More

The Guest House is now under new ownership and much is being done to bring it up to standard, but there is a long way to go. Many areas are still in need of renovation, but we found our room was clean and well renovated, albeit rather basic. The breakfast room and breakfast were very acceptable. If you are prepared...
