We returned for another January birthday visit. We found the standard continued to be Excellent in all categories. We enjoyed a delicious Full Tea on the first day. Excellent Value and service. The quality of food in the restaurant and presentation is even better than before. With a package of Dinner. B + B it is superb value. More

From start to finish nothing was too much trouble,it was a great experience all round, from making the booking to leaving all of expectations are not just met but exceeded! Stayed here for one night with my wife to celebrate a significant birthday. Great location opposite the Ashmolean Museum and a good room. We were staying what looked like a new part of the hotel and we weren't disturbed by noise even though the street below looked very busy. Obviously it is very expensive - its bad enough that the... After reporting a few problems with our original room - the duty manager - William - responded immediately and changed our room & was hugely apologetic with regards to another problem - this was very refreshing given that the hotel was busy and very large. The reception staff and duty manager were wonderful and their response really changed our initial... More

I was looking forward so much to our stay at the Randolf and at over £200 per night without breakfast was expecting a special experience. It was anything but The oft repeated phrase "sorry about the wait, we're very busy" doesn't wash after the third time within an hour. Surely if you know you're going to be busy, you plan... More

While visiting Oxford with a friend we popped into the Randolph Hotel, because we are massive Morse fans we were really excited to be visiting The Morse Bar and drinking where Morse himself had drunk. We waited and waited and waited, while the concierge, barman and another member of staff chatted and laughed amoungst themselves. Finally after a 20 minute... More

The main area of the hotel is very compact and is need of updating. However the rooms were good: very comfortable beds, complimentary water, molton brown toiletries and a good sized bathroom which was clean, light with a good strong shower as well as seperate bath. Unfortunately one of the nights we stayed there they had a function on and... More

The Randolph is a delightfully traditional city centre hotel. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful to us (particularly the Receptionists). Our room was very well appointed, clean and well-stocked. The breakfast was first class. We had a really wonderful weekend in Oxford exploring the sights - definitely worth a visit. More

We spent a break visiting Oxford and stayed at the Randolph Hotel .....both comfortably exceeded our expectations and were a perfect match. The city of Oxford has the most beautiful buildings I have experienced in England, outside London with the Bodleian Library, Christ Church and many of the other colleges and some of the lesser known buildings quite stunning.
