Stayed at the Randolph hotel for one night passing through from the Cotswols. My husband chose this hotel as it was within 5 mins into the centre of Oxford . We arrived at the hotel before lunch and we're very lucky enough to have a room waiting for us. The room was on the third floor and veery nice and... More

We're fairly regular visitors to Oxford and to the Randolph. There's a consistency in the service and amenities at the Randolph that make it a pleasure to revisit the hotel. The staff are endlessly courteous and often warm, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is of a higher standard than we generally expect from hotel dining rooms.... More

I stayed at this hotel as a treat, to celebrate a family event, but it was disappointing. The decor looked drab and the breakfast was no better than you'd get anywhere else - and when we said we'd been waiting so long for hot milk that the coffee had gone cold, and so long for butter that the toast was... One night stay was very pleasant. Dining room needed a makeover, but there are big renovations planned. Room was fine. Room service a bit slow but very courteous. Staff excellent and very helpful. Valet parking a real bonus in Oxford, and reasonable value compared to local parking. Superb historic building.

I had a very off-key experience at the Randolph last week. I am not a particularly demanding guest, but with a 5* rating and a price-tag of £160 a night without breakfast I was expecting something nice. Instead, I was struck by how institutional and tired the place is looking - the moment we stepped beyond the main hall and... More

Stayed here on 11th April for a birthday treat with my cousin and we were not disappointed. The valet parking was expensive but worth it given the location of the hotel. All the staff were really friendly from the concierge and front of house team to the cleaners you might encounter. Staff were on hand to open doors, pull out... More

Thank you for your kind comments following your stay with us. We do offer limited car parking at £28.50 per night. We offer a valet overnight service and operate hydraulic lifts. The council car park is adjacent to the hotel and charges £30.00 for 24 hours but Oxford is served by a very user friendly park and ride system to... More

I stayed in a very comfortable room, with all amenities including Molton Brown toiletries, (which is always a good sign) The service was excellent, and on the matter of service special mention needs to be made of Jake, one of the front of house team, who offered a 7 star service and could not have been more charming and helpful. The... More

Best known for its historical architecture, quaint charm and being home to a certain University of not-too-shabby education standards, Oxford is one of those iconic UK cities which epitomise English traditions. Excited at the prospect of an ultimate British weekend, I went to experience a weekend at the ever-so grand 5* Macdonald Randolph Hotel. Being a dinner deal meant that... More

Thank you for your review. Parking in Oxford is extremely limited and pre-booking is essential for our valet parking at £28.50 per night. The council car park charges £30.00 for 24 hours and the city has a very user friendly park and ride facility. Thank you for your kind comments regarding the bedroom and your understanding for our restaurant setup... More
