I stayed at The Randolph last year and had a great stay despite the fire, on my return I was in a newly refurbished room on the 3rd floor for 2 nights which was very spacious and luxurious. I don't have a bad word to say about any of the staff that I came across, and surprisingly to me the... More

Lovely building. Very pleasant room. Service friendly if not the most efficient. Food from room service could be better, especially breakfast (which was cold). Would stay again but would have breakfast in the dining room in future.

This hotel is in a very good position for exploring Oxford Museums and Colleges . The staff are helpful and pleasant . The room was very comfortable and well appointed apart from being short of clothes hanging space but it did have a Nespresso machine to make up for that ! Despite having a refurbishment going on the hotel ran... More

Lovely old hotel. Room very small but with a large comfortable bed. Building work going on. Breakfast poor. Had to ask twice for our order to be taken. It eventually came but was cold and only 1 rasher of bacon. Half a tomato and 4 wizened cold button mushrooms. But the service was worse. Such a shame

A beautiful hotel with lots of facilities, the bar is expensive however that is to be expected. Would go again, as we travel to Oxford a lot as a couple. It is very central to all the amenities in the centre

Three of us made two visits to the Randolph, both for afternoon tea. The lounge was quiet and comfortable, with tasty food, helpful and pleasant staff, clean toilets, and a handy cloakroom - in fact, all one would expect. The head waiter, Tony, was chatty and informative. The Randolph is an essential part of the Oxford visitor experience, and in... More

Stayed here for for the weekend for my wife's birthday. I had called in advance to make certain arrangements and all were carried out so I can only be thankful for the great service they provided. The room (standard double) was really nice with all the features you would expect, only slight issue was that being on the 4th floor... More

The overall hotel is fine and the rooms are obviously fairly recently refurbished and modern. There are still works going on in reception after the fire, but they warn you about this before you book so that's fine. We arrived to check in and were told that our room was not available and would not be until 4pm. No apology... More

Stayed three nights and we were looking forward to it. We'd made a specific request in advance for a high room overlooking the Ashmolean. Initially the staff member at reception told us there was limited availability but after a short conversation other options became available. We were assured there was no scaffolding outside our window and made our way to... More

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post a review. I am sorry you were disappointed with aspects of your stay with us. We offer all our rooms with every confidence guests will be comfortable and I am sorry the air-conditioning system did not heat the room. A portable heater was offered to alleviate this and please be... More
