Located right in the heart of Oxford. Well appointed rooms. Friendly service. Free WIFI. Good restaurant with patio. In the Center of the University. Converted bank, charmingly converted to a fully functional hotel

Our stay at the Old Bank was a highlight experience of our European vacation. The hotel’s High Street location is wonderfully convenient, our room suited us just fine, the amenities exceeded expectations, and the service was absolutely outstanding. Wow! If we’re fortunate enough to return to Oxford someday, the Old Bank is where we will stay. Aside to early-rising caffeine... More

After more than a week of staying at budget hotels, all I can say is "aaaah." What a relief! Flawlessly clean, proper amenities (even facecloths!), and air conditioning! Excellent location. Large room, complimentary water, tea service, biscuits. The bed was beyond comfy. Staff unfailingly helpful. While budget hotels certainly have their place, you do get what you pay for.

Good sized room, very clean and immaculate housekeeping. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast not quite as good as previous visits. Servers seemed distracted or dilatory. The small square tables don't allow for a build up of crockery so you need the tables to be cleared quickly or there is a problem "juggling" items. This may have been due to... More

The Old Bank Hotel in Oxford is a charming boutique hotel located in the center of everything. The rooms are spacious, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is loaded with history. As the name clearly states, this was an old bank building... artfully redone as a quaint yet, updated hotel. The room keys (yes, keys... No magnetic cards here)... More

We spend one night in the Old Bank Hotel. We arrived before our designated room was ready so were readily offered an upgraded room that was ready for us. Everything about this hotel is first rate. Our room was spotless and the included breakfast in the first floor restaurant was delicious. We would definitely stay here on other return trips... More

A comfortable hotel right in the center or Oxford, within walking distance of most attractions. Good queen size bed in a very small room - don't bring large suitcases (got claustrophobic after 2 days)! Free parking, too, and wifi. Good breakfast (not included with room) with cooked to order main dish, in a modern setting. Nice outdoor patio for dining,... More

Central location means you can leave the car in the car park (free) and walk and cycle (borrow one of the hotel bikes) all over this wonderful city. The hotel has a contemporary furnishings, an eclectic art collection and delicious breakfasts served in Quod. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and efficient. This time, our room on the second floor... More

Once checked in decided to book an extra night immediately. The hotel is in the middle of town so is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful and the rooms are beautifully furnished and well equipped. The hotels restaurant is the Quod which serves food all day. We ate there twice and were...
