This is a really nice old hotel on the high street in Oxford so you cannot get much closer to the centre. The rooms are comfortable with some nice art and decor. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the restaurant was a bit "public" for me but the service was fine and the food OK.

Top address in Oxford. Own parking lot, signs lead you there when you approach the center by car. From here you can explore Oxford on your feet. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Restaurant and Bar has good food and drinks. Sometimes live music in the bar.

A pleasant surprise in the town centre. The accomadtion was comfortable and clean. My room, number 14, was large and pleasant. It overlooked the main street, but inspite of tha it was reasonably quiet. WiFi in the room was free. Not cheap, but stylish (with plenty of original artwork) comfortable, and excellently located in the heart of historic Oxford. Staff are attentive and friendly & the restaurant is good too. The only minuses are that there's no gym/pool & the car park's a bit hard to find !
