Our room was small, but comfortable, all the staff were friendly and attentive. Can't beat the location of this hotel and Oxford is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed our stay.

Weekend trip to visit our student at Oxford. Bus from Heathrow stopped just 2 blocks from hotel. Staff fantastic and helpful. Rooms modern and clean. Hotel Restaraunt good and has Sunday Jazz live. Perfect location in town.

We stayed one night in May at this centrally located hotel. Room was spacious clean and had a lovely view of the "dreaming spires" of Oxford. We took the jazz dinner package and enjoyed a very nice meal along with some pleasant music in the conservatory restaurant a short distance from the main hotel.

This small boutique style hotel is a marvelous way to enjoy all of Oxford. Situated right on the main street, you can walk everywhere, enjoy museums, galleries, fine restaurants, and great shopping. The restaurant, Quod, is excellent! Great outdoor dining as well. The GM is one of the best we have ever encountered!

We would echo the comments of other reviewers. The hotel is expensive but well worth the price. The friendliness of the staff is superb, and the rooms extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the art on display--the equivalent of a small gallery. Do try Quod restaurant: food from farm to table--and delicious!
