A lovely visit to Milka's bed and breakfast. A very warm welcome as soon as we arrived and we were quickly shown two rooms that became available during our stay. We stayed in the loft room, very spacious for the loft room, excellent bathroom, bedroom and normal facilities that you'd expect. Large TV . Breakfast in the morning was great,... More

Summary & Pros: Although the location is about a 15 to 20" walk to the town, we loved our two night stay in Oxford at Milka's. The food was absolutely yummy, the bedroom was lovely, the bathroom - although small - was clean, with lots of hot water and good water pressure. The 'inn keeper' was friendly. Our room faced... Milka's is on a busy road and looks uninspiring on the outside.Once inside you will find a clean and comfortable guest house. Our room was very quiet and overlooked a pretty garden to the rear so no traffic noise. Breakfast was lovely but not included.Owner friendly and helpful. It seemed quite expensive but I think that this is normal price for... More

A bit off the beaten track, on a busy through road lies this guest house run by two lovely elderly people and their son. They do a mean cooked breakfast, there's plenty of fresh fruit to take with you for later and their coffee is among the best I have tasted in Blighty. Room and bathroom were modestly sized and... Stayed for 2 nights on June. Room was basic but very clean. First night we got a room facing the road which was very noisy, so we asked to move and got a room facing the back which was quieter but didn't have en-suite, It wasn't bad since there were only 2 rooms sharing the bathroom on that floor. Hosts... More

We paid £98 per night which was one of the cheaper b&b's we could find in the area. So it seems a normal price for Oxford for this rather low standard, but still it hurts to get so little for the money. + quiet room towards the back of the house + clean room + free wifi + nice hosts... More

Well, I did not have a nice stay in Oxford. The guest houses in Iffley road share one bad characteristic which is being located by main busy road. If you are unlucky enough to stay in the front rooms i.e. by the main road, you will have a nightmare stay i.e. very disturbed night sleep. The cars definitely exceed the... More

I spent a night in this B&B when needing to find accommodation at short notice with a group of my friends so we didn't know what to expect... we could not have been better looked after! The family that run the B&B are very accommodating, the communal areas (breakfast room) is light and airy and overlooks the very well maintained... More

We spent 2 nights at Milka's, and although we thought it expensive at £95 a night the owner was very welcoming and helpful, even giving us a lift to a local pub. We had the loft room at the back which was quiet and roomy and very clean, with all the usual facilities. The only disappointment was the cooked breakfasts,... More
