I've stayed at Sandfields many times and I am never disappointed. The rooms are very clean with an exceptional standard of cleanliness in the bathrooms. Paul, the host, couldn't do enough for you, with the breakfasts demonstrating a high standard of quality and service. The ideal location makes Sandfields a perfect stay for anyone that wishes to explore this city.

Lovely B&B a very short distance from Oxford city centre with a bus stop just there for quick access to the city without the parking hassle. Very homely and cosy feel to it, and Paul cooks a mean breakfast and really takes care of his guests! He recommended some great things to visit during our stay and was very attentive... More

We spent a lovely week in august at Sandfield Guest House. Our room was big with a nice bed and we slept like children. Paul Anderson was a splendid host with a hight knowledge of Oxford. His B&B was also perfect situated concerning busses in and out of Oxford.

I had a great nights sleep at this lovely B&B followed by a delicious breakfast - what more could you ask for. The owner and his wife are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble - fantastic all round B&B.

I spent 2 nights here to be near John Radcliffe hospital where my husband had been taken as an emergency. It is only a short walk from the hospital, which is why I chose it, but it turned out to be a very good choice. A charming host, very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended and I would... More

Having visited previously, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I recently returned to Sandfield Guesthouse for a last minute weekend getaway. I was so pleased to discover that despite recent building work on the private side of the property, nothing has changed with the excellent service and care given by Paul and his lovely wife. Breakfast was superb (I recommend the... More

Great B & B with first class breakfast and an extremely helpful owner. Ideal location for any visit to Oxford with clean and comfortable accommodations. The owner, Paul, went out of his way to give us detailed information about what to see and do in Oxford and cooked an extremely generous breakfast as well.

Very comfortable stay at Sandfield. I stayed in one of the single rooms on the top floor. My room was top notch and had everything I needed. Spotless bathroom next door. Breakfast was fantastic with a very good range. Paul is also a very welcoming host. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in the Sandfield Guest House and Paul was very welcoming indeed. In the morning he cooked a very nice breakfast. The room was good and very quiet. The only thing was that if you would like to watch television, that might pose a bit of a problem. I understood that the reception was very poor and it... More

I can 100% recommend to stay at this marvellous place when visiting Oxford for any purpose. The whole house is cosy and makes you feel relaxed like in your own home. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. What makes this b&b unique and unforgettable, however, is Paul, the attentive host, impeccable chef, gardener and proprietor in one person. He is... More
