My daughter and I enjoyed our overnight stay at Sandfield. We had the two single rooms on the third floor and shared a bathroom. Rooms were quiet and comfortable with good desks and tea/coffee making and the bathroom was large. Wifi was good. The breakfast was exceptional and made to order in an elegant breakfast room. Paul was a helpful... More

My second stay has confirmed that if there were no rooms available at Sandfield Guest House, I would not even bother to go to Oxford. Clean, quiet, well-located. Paul runs everything with aplomb. Nothing is too much trouble and he makes everything appear effortless. I swear he even manages to arrange the weather for me!

I am a student which commutes to oxford brookes university. After searching around for places to stay for a couple of nights a week, I came across Sandfield guest house. Firstly, Paul is an excellent host. He makes every effort to go out of his way to accommodate you (even brought me a berroca to cure a dull head). The... More

Lovely place. Paul is an excellent host, and makes every body feel very much at home. The rooms are nice and well kept, our bathroom was a bit on the smal side but all in all a very nice place to stay. I know were I'm staying at my next visit to Oxford.

My husband and I had stayed here for 2 nights. It is a wonderful experience. The room is spacious, clean, and very cozy. Paul is a wonderful host, warm, professional and considerate. He provided great advice on our plan. Delicious breakfast . The whole house is decorated carefully with love.

I've stayed here a couple of times and have always been really impressed. The rooms are clean and comfy, Paul (the owner) is really friendly and he serves up a great breakfast! It's really well situated - close to local shops, a short walk into town and 5 mins away from the OxfordTube bus stop (so easy to get back... More

We were really pleased that we decided to stay at Sandfield. Our room was very homley with a lovely view of the garden - and the comfiest bed I've slept in for a long time! The owner, Paul, could not have been more hospitable, giving us good advice on what to do with our time in Oxford and cooking a... More

I stayed at Sandfield while visiting friends in Oxford and would definitely recommend. It was very easy to get to from London and we were given a warm welcome by the owner Paul who proved to be extremely hospitable throughout our stay. My room was on the top floor so very peaceful. Add to that the Velux black-out blinds and... More
