On arrival I could not find the (ample free parking as advertised so I found a 3hr waiting so I walked to Adams there I met a man who was very unhelpful I asked where the free parking was , he said look bus turn left, I did so finding a single yellow line in public road 500 yards from... More

Stayed here for one night, paying £95 for a family room (group of friends). The room was cramped, the bathroom tiny and the decor in the room and the whole place was (as other reviewers have said) run down to the point of neglect - it did not feel as if anyone cares much about the place. A shame, as... More

I was working in Oxford and had the misfortune of staying here. If I wasn't so tired by the time I arrived I would of left. Expanding foam was holding the curtains up, mould everywhere and blood up the walls. This place should be condemned. The photos on their website are misleading. Breakfast was disgusting. These people should be ashamed... More

It was cold, mouldy, dirty, but the worst thing was the staff. Not a single word said to me when I checked in. At 1am the owner banged on my door and asked to be paid. I asked for another blanket for my room (there was no heating on in December), she said no. Shower didn't work, tried to get... More

This B&B is dirty, mouldy and dangerous, with unwelcoming staff, ill fitting appliances and noisy plumbing. When I told the staff about the water coming through the ceiling, no more than 6 inches away from a light fitting that was on, I was abruptly told they already knew about it. I don't consider myself a snob when it comes to... More

This is a really old fashioned boarding house. It's in a poor state of repair. I had a single room on the top floor with shoddy furnishings (apart from the bed that was comfortable with clean sheets). The wallpaper was peeling and torn and the rug was held down with tape. The bathroom sink was so small I had to... More

We stayed here to attend Blenheim Horse Trials as it was closer than where we normally stay - what a mistake! It actually took longer due to traffic but realise that's no fault of the accommodation. Guess it sounds harsh but not much good we can say about it - it's only redeeming feature was the full English breakfast and... More

I wanted somewhere to stay for one night in Oxford in October 2013. I was shocked at just how expensive this city is for hotels. Certainly more than the UK average. Eventually I found the Adams online. I thought this will do. It's cheap and cheerful by the look of it. Upon arrival, I realised that car parking is difficult.... More
