I wanted somewhere to stay for one night in Oxford in October 2013. I was shocked at just how expensive this city is for hotels. Certainly more than the UK average. Eventually I found the Adams online. I thought this will do. It's cheap and cheerful by the look of it. Upon arrival, I realised that car parking is difficult.... More

Hotel location in Summertown near the shops and only a few minute bus ride into town. The interior and decor is outdated. Room was simple and quiet, the breakfast was fine. Jól megközelíthető helyen van a városközponttól nem messze. Egyszerű szoba, a berendezés és a tapéták felújításra szorulnak, a reggeli jó volt.

This property should be banned from renting accommodation. Where to begin?. There is visible mould and dripping water between floors. The decorations in dining room are dirty with dust as are rooms. Holes in bathroom walls and threadbare carpets. Read other reviews for comprehensive experiences. Not cheap either. Go else where in the area.

My heart sunk as I approached the building. Run down and dirty. As I walked in I was confronted by a miserable member of staff who made things even worse. When I got into my room I saw why this Guest House is so low in price. The room was run down, dirty and smelly. Not to mention extremely small... More

Just the look of the outside was enough to put you off,the paint work was peeling off the windows the place is unkempt. Our bedroom was the same, two single beds pushed into a single room, the furniture looked like it had come from a second hand shop, or from the tip. The net curtain hanging at the window was... More

A perfect candidate for the Hotel Inspector TV series. The place is dilapidated, with wall paper that could have been better hung by an untrained monkey falling down all over. The hot water tap in the bathroom basin did not work. The furniture in the bedrooms (we hired 2 rooms) looks like it was collected from the local tip, with... More

Again, I can only say that I wish I had read the reviews here before booking. Without a doubt the worst B&B I have ever stayed in. Mould on the walls, dubious plumbing, uncomfortable bed and a huge amount of external noise starting well before I decided I had had enough and left at 7am. It was slightly difficult to... More

We have just stayed at Adams for 2 nights, and can assure will not be returning. Agree with what has already been written. The front of the house is in a bad state of repair, and we wondering what it was going to be like inside. Well it did not get any better. There was mould all over the wall... More

Staff were unfriendly and only interested in receiving their payment and the breakfast so inedible that we had to resort to the Sainsbury's accross the road. On the plus side it was fairly clean and quite well connected with transport links into the city centre. If you looking for any sort of comfort and service spend a bit extra and... More

If only I had looked at Trip Advisor before booking a night at this quite appalling B&B. This place has been getting shocking reviews on here since about 2009 and in just a one night stay we witnessed nearly every issue on here. Really filthy room in parts, terrible tatty décor..........and these are the positives..... but clearly the Hosts are... More
