We stayed at Elbie House for 2 nights in August while exploring Oxford. It provided us with lovely accommodation, clean, well equipped room, welcoming hosts, and a super breakfast in our room. We have never had this anywhere we have stayed before and it was really special, served with exceptional attention to detail by Mandy. The only slight drawback to... More

Myself and my boyfriend recently stayed here for 2 nights, we arrived in the evening to be greeted by Mandy who showed us to our room which was upstairs in their beautiful house, en suite bathroom with bath no shower was very well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. You are asked what you would like for breakfast and... More

We stayed here on July 27th 2013 because we were going to a wedding at Eyhsham Hall. Straight away we were warmly welcomed by Mandy who showed us to our room. The room had a lovely country cottages feeling; the decor in keeping with the country cottage theme. A pot of tea was made which was a very kind gesture.... More

We stayed here as it was an excellent location for a night, while we walked the Oxfordshire Way, and felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. We loved the idea of breakfast being served to our ensuite room, which was very clean, spacious and comfortable. A lot of thought had gone into providing what would be needed,... More

MY husband and I stayed here in October 2012 for our honeymoon. It was clean, welcoming, and warm. Breakfast was left outside the room, which I thought was ideal, and it was very well made. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the house itself was conveniently located for trips to Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Blenheim Palace (which was possibly the... More

We stayed here to attend a conference in Oxford, and the location is perfect - quiet and picturesque (and just around the corner from a Roman villa), but close enough to easily get into Oxford by car or park and ride. Our stay at Elbie House was simply wonderful, and we only wish it could have been longer. Mandy and... More

We stayed here in oct as a friend was getting married at Blenheim Palace. We chose this place as it was nearby but in a more quiet location and it was def the right choice. Many of our friends stayed in Woodstock but complained of poor sleep due to lots of noise. We stayed in the Rose room, which was... More

Room was very clean and spacious with lots of little extras. We didn't realise when we booked it that there wasn't any shower just a bath( which was very clean) and there wasn't any breakfast room. After notifying the owner what you wanted for breakfast the night before it was then brought to your room in the morning. There was a table and... Elbie House is in a tiny, peaceful hamlet near Woodstock - really tucked away and calm. Mandy and her husband are very welcoming, and great hosts. The rooms are part of the house but you have your own porch entrance so no need to bang about their abode! The room we stayed in was great, lovely bed, nicely done out.... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Elbie House. We very much enjoyed our stay. The innkeeper, Mandy, was very sweet. We stayed in the Rosewalk Room, which was very charming. An added feature at Elbie House was the breakfast, which was very generous. The fruits and yogurts were very fresh. Mandy actually brings the breakfast to your... More
