Personally I would recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The A/C system is spot on. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nice heated shower floors. All amenities provided. Wi-fi works excellent. Very honest hotel staff. Within walking distance to the city center. True story: I left my shoes, shirt, and jeans there which the hotel... More

Stayed here for one night in August while passing through Oxford. We arrived a little early and the reception was unmanned. After calling the number of the counter we were met with indifference at best. The person on the phone was in a different location and couldn't even assist with local parking directions. Not ideal. On our return the reception... More

I stayed in oxford for 10 days and stayed in 3 rooms at the hotel. I was very satisified. The staff resolved a dispute in a very fair way. The rooms were very nice and quiet, the walk to the heart of town was about 10 minutes. Good people. I would stay again!

We had a beautifully decorated, modern room with great facilities -iron and ironing board; fridge; kettle, toaster, microwave; cutlery and crockery in a mini-kitchenette - but we didn't know before we got there that there would be those facilities or we'd have brought our own breakfast. The only breakfast is a cold breakfast basket delivered to the room which we... More

After looking for a family room in Oxford, we nearly went home. Thank goodness we found this lovely hotel! Such warm friendly stuff, clean and excellent family size room! It changed our view of Oxford accommodation. We highly recommend, it was good value.

We could not have been happier with Ethos Hotel! Our room was clean and tidy with everything we needed! I can't say exactly what but there was a charm that made our experience great! I would gladly stay here again and appreciate the extra hospitality the stuff exhibited.

We stayed for a couple of nights in Ethos Hotel, in one of the new executives suites. Everything was perfect! We had AC, Sky channels, kitchenette with fridge, coffee machine... We couldn't ask for more! We felt like home and we looking forward to come again!

This small hotel is around 15 minutes' walk from the centre of town and station. It's tucked away in a residential area and seems to be a modern conversion of a corner terrace. Rooms are small and okay for one; a family would really struggle. It's not cheap, but that just reflects Oxford where good value is very hard to... More

Visited the Ethos Hotel on 12-14 July. Nice location on a quiet side street close to the downtown area. Stayed in two rooms as we requested something bigger for the last night. The experience was good but somewhat variable and further attention to details is necessary to complete the room setups. The staff were, however, quite helpful: when we shifted... More

To be fair, the Manager was very pleasant and helpful and she bent over backwards to do the right thing, but this hotel just does not cut it. Cleanliness. If I am staying away from home, I do not want someone else's (whom I do not know) fingerprints on my bathroom mirror and wardrobe door. Our room had not been... More
