I found this hotel rather disappointing and to be honest if the manager had not of been so helpful and friendly I would score it less. Room was a little small, bed was comfortable, nice having a fridge in the room. Room was averagely clean if looking under bed its dusty, draws not clean. Tea selection random, 1 pack of... More

This is the 6th time I've stayed at Ethos Hotel and I love it. Unlike a traditional hotels it's spilt over 2 converted end terraced houses on a residential estate and on first appearance doesn't look like a hotel at all but don't be put off. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and attractive. What's... More

This was the perfect hotel for the Oxford leg of our trip. The location was remarkably quiet with a parking space available for us right outside the hotel. Best yet, we were so close to the city center. We kept busy by seeing so many attractions from the beautiful Christ Church College nearby as well as a boat trip from... More

We booked 2 rooms here travelling with our friends for a weekend away in Oxford. Paid £149 per room based on the photos on their website and good feedback and therefore was quite hopeful that we wouldn't be disappointed. How wrong were we. Before arrival we checked the parking situation and it clearly free street parking on their website. On... More

Dear Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay and for your kind words about our Full English Breakfast. However, I am sorry to hear the overall experience did not live up to your expectations. Sometimes guests arrive early, as in your case three hours before check-in, and although we try to accommodate them... More

The hotel is actually a building in a nice quiet residential area but within walking distance to most attractions and the bus stop that brings you to Heathrow airport. We stayed on the top floor which is a lovely room with a spacious double bed and there is no lift for transporting heavy luggage. I found the friendly manager, Luigi,... More

Stayed here for a wedding in Oxford. The people who run it are lovely and very eager to please, but I just got the impression things were a little disorganised. For example we paid for breakfast in advance and then when it came to breakfast we were told it wasn't included. The room was just a little bit shabby too... More

Had the most amazing stay at the Ethos hotel in Oxford, beautiful apartment which would be fit to live in with my partner. The bathroom even had a heated floor!! Luigi was particularly lovely at the check in desk, nice warm welcome awaits! Had a Chinese takeaway at the room whilst watching sky to. Perfect for a cozy night in... More

We had two nights to spend in Oxford and found the Ethos Hotel to be a good, relatively affordable option. It's about a 5-10 minute walk across the Thames south of Christ Church College in a quiet residential neighborhood. The management set aside a key for us when we arrived after 10pm, and the wifi, complimentary continental breakfast and storage... More

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were very impressed with the warm welcome, reserved parking space and information supplied, Having been shown our room, they had decorated it with balloons and banners (as requested, but still a nice touch). As first impressions go, it was right up there... More
