I stayed at the ethos for 2 nights whilst On a conference . The accommodation is comfortable warm and well set up. The management helpful. The have a great new breakfast option at a nearby French restaurant the no1 folly bridge brasserie, ehich was lovely next to the river. I'd go again! More

Apart from not having its own car parking this a great value hotel. The bed is ultra comfortable, staff are very helpful and all sky channels are available . Surprisingly the area the hotel was situated in was very quite and we slept extremely well. My only concern was that we had to leave the car parked in a residential... More

Ethos has very nice rooms indeed, lovely in fact and for that I would come again. It lacks many other facilities and the off the street access was unexpected. but the service was good at check-in and out. Breakfast was up the road on the edge of the river - lovely view and quite a nice breakfast though rather drowned... More

When my girlfriend came to visit I decided to treat her with a lovely suite! And I was really pleased, great welcoming staff, champagne awaiting in ice bucket and really nice and spacious room! Our stay was perfect, quiet surrounding really comfy bed. Will definitely send family visiting to stay there! More

We stayed here 2 different nights, December 23rd and 30th. Extended family traveling, so had one large room with a cot (crib) and one smaller but nice size room. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even with our after normal hour check in on the first night. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. Nice assortment of items... More

The room is very clean and comfortable with good layout and a satellite tv with lots and lots of channels. There is a microwave and toaster. Staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good. Caveats: The breakfast is at a place about 5 minutes walk and opens at 9 AM, so if you are like me, who would like to have... More

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms which were immaculately cleaned every day (a few old stains on the carpet, but not very noticeable). Staff were extremely helpful and polite and parking in the next street wasn't a big deal - perhaps in summer this might pose more of a problem? 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Oxford which... Midweek stay in a fantastic room. The modern kitchenette was such an asset. The underfloor heating in the en-suite heavenly!! Good location close to city centre. Overall a great little hotel. More

The hotel was lovely - I would describe it as more of a house rather than a hotel. It had a very homely feel about it. The rooms were lovely - big bed and a little area to make a drink, including a sink. Breakfast is already in the room when you arrive - muffins, cereal etc. Yoghurt and milk... More
