beautifully presented hotel, clean and very up to date stylish decor. But even better the staff are friendly and helpful. Sharon we had a great laugh with you and could see your love and inspiration to take the cafe part of the hotel forward. while we there the cafe was awaiting its kitchen, so hot food is on hold but... There are many things about this hotel that don't fit standard expectations but we were very pleased with our stay there. It is located in a residential area but that area is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. You may not have the sights outside your window but it was very peaceful and we had an... More

Management went out of their way to help with everything from parking, to the 3rd party website we booked with, to recommendations on where to go in Oxford. The manager, Aaron Smith did not treat us as a number which you get with bigger chains, but as valuable customers. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

NEVER AGAIN. We were a party of 9 people. Despite carefully confirming the booking and names of guests, allocation on arrival was totally inefficient; twin beds not prepared for some as had been promised, rooms with electric wires hanging about, TV didn't work in another, only one small towel on arrival in another. Lavatory paper and tea bags were not... More

Booked via booking.com for one night for one person. It was £130 for the night. No staff in reception on arrival, had to ring a number who had no details of my booking. Young man arrived who said he'd take care of everything. Booking found, taken outside, cafe pointed to outside where I was told breakfast would be served next... More

This place is located in a residential area a bit outside Oxford centre. The hotel has more a feeling of a poor B&B. The rooms have a smell of mould, plain furnitures, bath rooms sub standard, direct street access (no lobby access) - £200/night is much over priced.

The potential was there. A lovely modern suite with large rooms, ground floor & nearly new. However we couldn't find a staff member initially but when we did the pleasant young man stored our bags & directed us to parking several streets away. This hotel is in central Oxford with little on site parking. We returned later & checked in.... More

Booked "deluxe double" through booking.com at much better price than on hotel's website - tells you something doesn't it! "Hotel" is a collection of rooms in a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from centre of Oxford, many of which rooms are on ground floor and access is from outside, not within the hotel. Room was clean, until we found... More

+ Room good clean, with good facilities. Only short walk to the town maybe 5-6 mins. - Breakfast not great, most things had run out and no more available. Cafe bar opposite is NOT open during the day. We stayed Friday and Saturday night, would have liked to use it. When checked out receptionist barely looked up.

Do not bother staying at this hotel, save your money time and effort and book somewhere where the manager and staff know how to treat their guests. We were informed on arrival we could park opposite the hotel on the pavement - we queried this but at the time there were 4 other cars parked there so we parked along... More
