the best thing at this hotel is the price and the staff, it was cheap and the staff very helpful, its in a great location but really only head here if you are really on a budget the rooms are in desperate need of an overhaul peeling and chipped paint, dirty walls, broken furniture and really out of date equipment,... Just spent three days at this Travelodge , used a few different ones over the years , this was the most shabby and dated , rooms need a good going over , decor and upgrade. It was really convenient for the Park n Ride into Oxford. The staff all seemed very helpful and friendly , gave us plenty of local... More

We had 2 rooms here and both were clean and comfortable. At first they weren't together but despite being very busy the lady on reception was very helpful and moved us around and brought extra bedding. The location is perfect for getting into Oxford, the park and ride is next door and there are places to have breakfast in the... More

I booked this hotel simply due to the fact it was next to the park and ride service at pear tree island (we all know its a nightmare to park in Oxford) The room walls have dents, scratches, chips, hooks and nails in/On. Pictures had been removed and hooks left in its place. Burn marks from the radiators upon the... More

As you would expect from travelodge, clean and lovely staff The lodge is within 2mins walk to park and ride, which runs every 5mins and after 7every 30 mins, with the last one leaving Oxford at 23.15, the ride takes 10 mins. This coupled with the costs of parking and travelodge is an excellent way to visit Oford, we spent three... More

We didn't get a friendly welcome on arrival. Person on reception didn't even smile. On our way up to our room there were frayed edges of Gaffa Tape on the stairs. In our room we found black marks over radiator & scuff marks on walls & skirting boards. The TV had a fuzzy image & cellotape was holding the batteries... More

Stayed for two nights, not up to the normal standard, it needs a bit of TLC , the rooms are well worn, need decorating, the mattress was very low on the floor and very soft, the room was quite, with no traffic noise even though it is quite close to a major junction. The plus side to this hotel are... More

I travel to Oxford on business several times a year, with stays of one or more nights on most occasions. Since 2008 I have consistently chosen to stay in this hotel. It is certainly not appropriate if you are looking for a luxury break with fine dining and plenty of pampering. But the rooms are large and generally quiet (and... More

About 4 miles outside of Oxford. Rooms are in need of a freshen up. Carpets to our room were frayed. Room itself was ok. Bed soft but comfy and pillows were thin. Was ok but probably wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel is poorly maintained and a bit frayed at the edges. I often stay in Travelodges as they are such good value but this one feels grubby and worn. My room smelt damp - as did my clothes after staying there for 3 days. The duvet was the thinnest one I have ever slept under and so I didn't... More
