this place is a little gem. it has to be the best value in Henley. courteuos attentive service, clean comfy rooms and a real homely feel. the food is fantastic. if they tripled the price I'd still buy it. Will definately be back. more

Although we only stayed for one night, we were made very welcome into the B&B. The couple who run the Rose & Crown were very friendly and catered for all our needs. The rooms were comfortable with on-suite facilities and tea/coffeee.The breakfast was excellent. It is a very convenient place to stay for visiting Henley. more

Warm, friendly welcome with great food (choice, quality and value) including a great breakfast (It's all grilled so you feel less guilty about having cooked breakfast...). Comfortable, clean, well appointed and spacious rooms with free wifi. The only reason not to give it a 5 rating is that for tall people (+6ft like me) one of the rooms has a... more

Arrived tired after a long haul flight from Australia and were really welcomed. Shown up to our room which although very small was very clean and comfortable and had ensuite. It was very hot but luckily a fan was provided. The only place in UK that did! The hotel had heaps of charactor and the owners friendly. Breakfast was great... more

Whilst staying in this pub during Regatta week, I needed to take a cab out of Henley early one morning. I waited until 7.00 am to ring from my room and asked the owner if he would kindly give me the number of a local taxi firm; the response I received was 'No, not now'. Excuse me?! This also appears... more

The inn has three double rooms, all different and attractive, and could not be cleaner. The owner,Craig is a chef and the breakfast cooked to order is one of the best we can remember eating and we travel a great deal. The Pub is oldy worldy as is New Street itself. Craig and his wilfe really make you feel welcome.... more

Whilst on the latest leg of walking the Thames Path, we booked a night in The Rose & Crown, Henley on Thames and what a very good decision it was! So often when you stay in bed and breakfast accomodation, even when everything is clean and well presented, there remains that niggling feeling of being in somebody elses home and... more
